A few hours in and this game had me hooked. Let's just say, that even a decade later, it still has me hooked. The game aged well. While it definitely is showing its old, grey hairs. But aren't we all by this point? It still holds up until arma 4 is out. And probably till quite a bit after. While you still need NASA's super computer at times, now the hardware has improved so much that in most if not all missions, you can get up to 60 fps or more. (Finally eh?). Or it even plays on the most potato devices I have seen. Good game. I still enjoy it.

I do not recommend the game for putting it behind yet another account. I do not own a playstation, nor do I own a psn account. if I had known that I needed a psn account from the start, I wouldn't even gotten to game. Down with the psn account requirement or down with helldivers 2.

While Sony has changed their stance, I will still not support this game any longer. Sony, your damage has been done. You have lost me as a customer. Hopefully this shall serve as a reminder that it's smart to think before you make a decision. Instead of using your brains after the decision.

Guys, go ahead and play it if you want but I shall not change my review just because they crumbled now. Because what will prevent Sony from pulling this ♥♥♥♥ in the future, or in silence?

Haven't that many hours in the game yet, but damn it looks stunning. If you'd like a stunning looking game and if you are a fan of adventures, You may want to pick this up.

Though, be aware of bugs. I so far have come across a few of them and you may need to reload your save file a few times to get unstuck or use debug commands (using the commands will disable the achievements though.)

So, When the game was launched first it was only half completed so I reviewed it in a way to not buy it. Now with the game released again and finished properly I think this game should be bought. It is stunning and super fun to play.

Now for the long version:
The game itself. You are situated on earth and you have to travel to the moon to start the network back up. So you can transmit power to the earth again. Things develop in an interesting way and you are thrown in a stress situation right at the start. This will carry through the game and gives the game, the feeling that it’s not just a friendly environment. The moon is quite unforgiving. You are the astronaut that goes around, trying to restore the network to transmit power back to the earth. You will go through puzzles. See it as an escape room sometimes. You really have to think out of the box.

Storyline:
The story line is beautiful. Well executed and it all ties in together. Some loose ends are left here and there. But I think that’s where a second game will pick up from. While playing you really feel like you are that astronaut and that you are part of the story.

Graphics/visuals:
Graphics wise, this game is stunning. I haven’t been able to play games with such a high polish, such a high quality so well before. It looks amazing, it really does. This game is gorgeous to say the least. The design of every single object is highly detailed and everywhere you go, you will find stunning views.

Performance:
Now with a stunning view and such a high quality comes low performance right? Well uhm.. depends. I have played this game on a laptop and a pc. Just to throw specs out there. The laptop is an i7 9750H, 32gb of RAM and an RTX 2070. The game ran on max settings and it ran beautifully. One or two frame stutters here and there. But come on. A game that looks that amazing and performs this well. Those frames stutters shouldn’t matter.

My pc is an i7 7700k, 16gb of RAM and a gtx 1080. Now in the later part of the game it dropped a few frames just a bit more. But still. I think the frames that were dropped didn’t do justice to lower the graphical settings. All I can say. The game is highly optimized. It runs amazing.

All in all, this game is beautiful. Story line is great. It looks stunning and it runs quite good. Definitely worth a pick up if you get a chance!

The game is quite fun to play.
At first, it's maybe a little tricky but watch the video's they make you learn it pretty quickly.

For a game which is still in its 'early days' it plays nicely till a certain point.
I started noticing that both my CPU usage and RAM usage were how you call it.. A little abnormal.
The game started using over 10GB's of RAM. CPU is maxed out too. (being an i7 7700k..)
I just hope that will solved pretty quickly. Just watch out with the settings you are on.

Even with this performance issues and the bugs, the game is fun to play.
Performance wise the game has to improve alot together with the bugs, but that's to be expected for a game that is kindoff an early access game. If you want one little fun game.
I'd say pick it up. It has some good potential.
