I can't really recommend this game when Forza Horizon 5 fails to do the most basic thing for their consumers, which is to keep their save file on cloud.

I took a few months off the game to play some new releases and came back to the game telling me that not only my save file is invalid, but my backup as well. I can't even start fresh if I want to as the game refuses to go past the loading save file stage, which meant I was stuck in a loop of constantly trying to load a corrupted save.

It is not like the server thinks I have not played the game before, my rival records are all still there but my level was reset back to 1 when I checked with my friends.

This is not a new issue with the franchise as well as some of my friends back in Forza Horizon 4 have the same exact issue and Playground games have yet to fix it even after all these years.

10/10 would refund if I could.

Well I'm surprised, Sony actually went back and cancelled their mandatory account linkage plan (for now).

In that case, I will update my review as I still believe the game has great potential and anyone should give it a try. But do be wary, who knows Sony might do a double back some day but for now, do enjoy the game!

Game is best with friends but can still be fun with randoms. Just try to adapt around them and don't expect the best out of there as everyone plays differently. With that said, feel free to spread managed democracy.
