Prison Architect looks like an interesting little game.

However, I didn't find the gameplay to be particularly intuitive.
(Maybe I've spent too much time on First Person Shooter games.)

It's not my cup of tea, but others may like it.

Read Clock Time is a simple game, which could be useful for people who are learning how to tell the time with a clockface (instead of a digital clock).

The game incorporates 24-hour times (e.g. 23.30), so it gives a wide range of times to assess.

You have to beat the clock (no pun intended) to beat the levels (i.e. the levels include a time limit).

I would suggest that the devs add some clockface phrases to the game (e.g. "quarter to", "half past"), as those phrases are part of the style of how clockface times are expressed.

It's a simple game, and it's quite easy to get 100% of the achievements.

I would recommend this game only as a short bit of amusement (maybe 30 minutes' worth?), but only if it's available at a low price - because only then does it achieve the right fun-to-cost ratio (I bought it for AU$0.40).

Note: It has been claimed that that this game is an "Unity Asset flip" and that, at this stage, "this game will not count towards your Game Collector counts, achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments". So, caveat emptor ("let the buyer beware").

Hunger in Paradise is an easy game where you spell out words by clicking on the letters which are falling from the sky.

It is probably a good game for children who are learning how to spell words at a primary school level (e.g. melon, potato, artichoke).

For achievement-hunters, it's easy enough to get 100% of the achievements in this game.

Buy it if you have a young child (to use as a teaching game), or if you want to waste a bit of time.

I can recommend this game for a short bit of amusement (maybe 30 minutes' worth?), but only if it's available at a low price - because only then does it achieve the right fun-to-cost ratio.
If it's on sale, you can't go wrong (I bought it for AU$0.43).

Day of Defeat is a bit of old-time shooting fun, in a World War Two scenario.

Even though the game was released years ago, you can still have a good shoot-out with it.
Despite its age, there are still some servers going.
As an Australian, I played on a US server, and it went pretty well.

If you like the old shooting games, then it would be worth giving Day of Defeat a try.

I enjoyed playing Survive the Nights, and would happily recommend it (so long as it works) to anyone who likes zombie games.
However, for me, it is currently unplayable (see the reason at the end of this review).

To add some constructive criticism, the game could do with some changes:
* Enable groups/clans.
* Add a hot bar.
* Ability to make bows and arrows (distinct from crossbows).
* Allow some building to be done (e.g. ramps, watchtowers).

However, here is why this game is unplayable for me:
I originally played the game (and enjoyed it), but when I tried to log back in, I could not join the server (indeed, I couldn't join any server - it would always just stay on the loading screen).
(Note: My friends could join the server, but not me.)
I verified the Steam game files, but that made no difference.
Uninstalled the game yesterday, re-downloaded it, and could then play.
Logged on today, but could not join the same server, or any other servers. It was the same problem all over again.

There is no point in me playing this game if I have to re-download the whole thing every time that I want to play it.
So, sadly, from my perspective, I have to give Survive the Nights a thumbs down.

Deceive Inc. is a fun game where you play a spy who can adopt a disguise of any character in the game.
Then you hack terminals, access restricted areas, and find mission items, then escape.

Having a knowledge of the maps is a distinct advantage (I spent most of my first match wandering around trying to find specified items; it seemed that I was always on the wrong level, or blocked from getting into an area).

I don't think that the player base is that big, because I've tried getting a game and ended up just waiting for ages because there is no other player queuing up at the same time. If they could add some sort of mode where you can play when no-one else is online, that would be good. Maybe add bots for those situations?

Nonetheless, it is a good game, and I would recommend it for those looking for a bit of fun.

Total War: Warhammer III is an interesting game.
However, it seemed that it was too resource-hungry for my computer. Episodes took quite a while to load, and in the end it crashed mid-game.
Maybe I should wait until I have a better computer.

Nonetheless, I liked what I saw, and would recommend it to people who like turn-based games.

Farmer Against Potatoes Idle is a nice little idling game.
As a farmer, have to fight rabid potatoes who are attacking you.

You can upgrade your health, attack, and gathering points (you gather potatoes, skulls, worms, etc.). Also, you can upgrade your skills (talents).
Weapons and armour randomly drop, so you can improve your chance of survival whilst fighting waves of angry potatoes.
All the usual idling game stuff.

It's similar to other idling games, so don't expect anything particularly new.
However, you can play whack-a-mole with potatoes, so that's a new twist; the points you get in that mini-game can be used to improve your overall game.

If you're after something to do with your time, then this might fit the bill.

If you like idling games, then go for it.

(I counted to potato, so you didn't have to.)

The Anacrusis is a 4-person squad game, good for a bit of shooting fun.

It's very much like Left 4 Dead, but set in a space scenario (L4D players will recognise some of the alien classes as being the same or similar to L4D enemy classes).

There's not a lot that would make it stand out from similar games; but, nonetheless, it's a bit of alien-killing fun - so it gets a thumbs-up.

Chivalry 2 is a fun medieval hack and slash game.

Grab a sword and get stuck in to the enemy.
Kill 'em all - you know they deserve it!

Melee weapons, ranged weapons, and some occasional cavalry - what's not to like?
If you enjoy old-style fighting games, then you might want to give Chivalry 2 a try.
