I can't help with any DLC. The method only works for the base game, the DLC seems to break it again, I could probably find a fix for that too but I only have the base game myself so I can't say unfortunately.

I jsut got spore, and im getting an error that says Data Directory couldnt be found. I looked at your guide and tried fixing it. downloaded the file, ran as admin,e tc, but still gives me the message.
