Games a BLAST. And I'm not even playing Gunlance.

Performance is fine enough. 5900x/2080Ti pulled 50FPS at 1440p. Decided to upgrade to a 5080 and am getting 120-150 FPS with frame gen on. "Fake frames" blah blah blah. Couldn't care less. Zero input lag that I can notice and I'm zooming.

Game is fantastic. Sure it has some server issues on 0.9 launch and 1.0 launch, but they'll overcome them. It's a happy medium between the Diablo franchise and Path of Exile.

If you have more patience than a toddler missing their adderall dose and enjoy aRPGs, you'll enjoy the game.

9.5/10 - Last half of the story feels a bit rushed, but gameplay-wise the game is PRISTINE. Garl is love, Garl is life.

While the game is having some technical difficulties (Mouse is implemented as a joystick, optimization is hurting even the top end rigs, and the servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ their brains on a game launch,) the game is an absolute joy. I've played hundreds of hours in other Monster Hunter games, and am happy to see it finally come to the PC world. If you like the idea of endlessly grinding for gear, MonHun is the game to play. Do come at it with a decent rig, though. Even low and off settings leave a lot of performance to be desired. There does seem to be some kind of bug with loading high res textures where it just doesn't happen all the time.

The game is playable (30+ FPS) at 1440p on a GTX 780Ti with an i7-4790K and 16gb of ram. Plop it on a SSD and enjoy the 1-2 second load times of HUGE areas that are by all accounts beautiful, even if the 780Ti has to turn it all down. Waiting for my 980Ti to come back from RMA so I can really give the game a look. :)
