Probably the closes thing to a (trippy) Zucker comedy in video game form. Comedy is hard to pull off in this format, and Jazzpunk (mostly) succeeds.

They actually managed to get me to play solitaire for hours on end - smart puzzle design and the charming Regency framework really make this game stand out

I haven't had this much fun with a shooter in years. It's the best since F.E.A.R. for me, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

As much as I like the scenario and anticipated this game (I really liked Stranded), I can't help but be disappointed. It's not necessarily even the length, which I don't mind at that pricepoint, but it's that for a narrative-driven game, the story goes nowhere. It feels more like the prologue to a story than one in itself.

A soulless attempt at creating a FEAR game, it lacks everything that made the first two great - namely tension, stark visuals and intense combat. The story and characters are barely connected to the predecessors (when they're not outright changed) and feel as shallow and trite as the gameplay does.
It's sad that the FEAR series didn't get the finale that it deserved, I can't help but wonder what could have been if Monolith had made this game.
