"Re-enter the world of survival horror"

RE2 really is a prime example of a remake delivering a modern experience while staying true to the original game.

A really pleasant, wholesome, short little adventure with surprisingly good comedic writing and timing.

Also it's got smiling starfish and a lesson about books, which is very good

Fullbright really nailed the environmental storytelling in Tacoma. Aside from the interesting characters whose intertwining stories you slowly unravel, the things you learn about them (and the world!) by looking at the detailed environment is a delight - it creates a world without relying on endless exposition. You're put in a place that feels real, and part of a greater whole, instead of just a contained map created for the player.
I could go on about how I love the aesthetic and design, but if you're even vaguely interested in storytelling and worldbuilding, give this game a shot!
