The campaign seems decent, nice co-op. Havnt played it much.

But the RAID mode? What a masterpiece of being perfectly mediocre and therefore fun. Its everything you expect and only a little bit more. Its very grindy, its a very generic looter shooter but thats the value of it? Its hard to explain but im so glad I gave it a shot. Grab this game on sale.

So when I first came away from Rivals after a session I was left with a strong feeling of "woah these animations are fantastic!". And that holds up! The animations consistently impress me. Its the games strongest point by absolute miles.

Moment to moment gameplay is hectic, its suffers from that same issue Overwatch does with readability but ramps it up to be worse due to low FOV that cannot be changed and very flashy third person.

Imagine chaotic un-spectatable Overwatch but also you can see your own character and all their flashy stuff. Way to much is going on on-screen and I felt overwhelmed or frustrated about 70% of the time.

I also dont understand why anyone would ever pick DPS when tank does decent damage, has sometimes higher mobility than DPS and can eat heals like candy. Role queue may fix this but I also know role queue is not the answer people want. Just balance the game to make tanks not fast moving high does bullet sponges.

Business model.
Alright so straight up, despite this being a negative review, this business model seems quite litterally perfect. Battle pass, outright skin purchases, ALL HEROES FOR FREE FOREVER FOR ALL PLAYERS. I dont have much issue with it.

Overall, for me personally, 4/10, maybe that's due to my autism? Maybe its because the game is made for iPad babies who prefer pretty colours over actual gameplay? Idk.

To be really clear, if you enjoy this game, fantastic! Free, cross-platform games that don't contain pay to win elements are seemingly a rarity. I respect Rivals for that.

Little mini retro COD Zombies like. Its cute, its fun, its clearly made with some love and care.
Pick it up whenever, the base asking price is reasonable.

This game is an absolute monster when it comes to UI design. The UI starts out messy and later becomes incomprehensible. I do not understand how any finds enjoyment from this after the first 5 minutes. If you think you have seen bad UI before, you havnt, whatever you have seen is not as bad as this game.

I reached level 108, in all that time, I dont know what I actually did. The game mostly plays itself.

An absolutely awful tutorial that flows into one of the best core foundations for an MMO iv seen in many years. The "social" aspect of this game cannot be understated. If this game appeals to you, that is, old school MMO with an emphasis on being social to make progress, then pick it up.

I think this is honestly the best Far Cry game in the series.
The villain is fantastic, the graphics hold up, the drug trips / Shangrila episodes are inspiring and I really love some of the first person animations.

Certified banger idle game. Great graphics and audio. I love that its vertical! Super cute and polished. A solid little find.

I am all for experimental horror indie games, its important that such a scene exists for a place where devs can start releasing games and for fans of the genre to write countless blogposts attempting to explain a narrative.

RatShaker is one of those games! But it costs money, is short and I actually didnt find it fun because the game "loops" whenever you fail but the metrics for success are unclear for almost the entire playthrough. Failing because I dared to use a TV I found and being put back to the start of that "loop" was super annoying. The player walks at a very slow pace. Interacting with ANYTHING requires you to shake the rat and then squeeze which becomes tedious. I just wanted the game over. The atmosphere is good for most of it although some sections are too dark to see anything and I was piloting blind.

I just didnt have fun with this one, sorry. Im glad other people enjoy it, I just found it tedious.

I do like how spam clicking is NOT the optimal way to play. I dont get RSI playing this!
Some of the choices you have to make about what to upgrade next are interesting, do you get more coin flippers? more income per successful flip or increase your odds? What about the separate passive pile of coin income? would that be a better use of your money?

Cookie Clicker has some really creative and fun moments. The themeing and mild world building are what pull this distinct game together all these years later.
The game starts out fun, becomes boring, becomes fun again and then becomes a mindless slog.
I got to around 500 achievements and went "huh, I think im done".
I then did a few more hours to confirm my suspicions.
!00%ing this game sounds like a bloody nightmare, don't go in looking for that experience.
