Pros:
-Amazing storyline and character development as usual
-The Focus/wound system is unique and fun to play around
-Good monster designs
- Offset attacks and perfect guards/dodges are a great concept
Cons:
-Game is buggy and has graphical issues very frequently.
-Perfect dodges with Dual Blades and some perfect guards will result in you still taking the full damage from the attack you dodged/blocked (most noticeable on Arkveld)
-The balancing is a bit easy. Hunts feel like they take 1/2 the time of a HR World or Rise fight with less effort, especially until you get to Tempered 7 stars
- Artian weapons are boring in design and there's no way to layer weapons. Most of the 14 weapons just default to an Artian being best in all situations due to the 3x3 slots.
- The lack of Shagaru Magala bothers me but hopefully we'll see it in future updates.

This game is a pitiful attempt at moneygrubbing the hero shooter community by slapping a Marvel tag on it.
It is heavily unoptimized for PC, flashes in game purchases at you nonstop, and the initial balancing and overarching mechanics of the game are completely awful.
There is no role queue or bans, so you are often getting stubborn idiots locking in DPS instead of Tank or Support, contributing absolutely nothing to the team, and there's nothing you can do about it. Developers have OPENLY SAID that they WON'T add this feature. This happens in all ranks from Bronze to high Platinum, and the way the elo system works, you get punished for other players contributing nothing to the game.
There was a beta for this game and yet still the complaints of people during this beta are unfixed and the developers will continue to rake in the dough with flashy in-game purchases instead of balance or optimize their game.

Another perfectly done game in the Monster Hunter Francise

Absolutely awful game. Can't even launch it anymore due to an unfixable crash and can no longer refund it due to having to spend over 2 hours troubleshooting. Save yourself the money.

Game is dead ass fun. I'm not even big into football and this game is a blast with a group of friends.

This is not an easy to learn casual game for most people. This game has a moderately high skill ceiling and you will meet players that will absolutely destroy you, in addition to brainless noobs that don't know what they're doing and get angry when you beat him.

Pros:
~Great character design/lore/customizations
~Interesting Story mode
~Good visuals/graphics and scenery
~Multiple different characters with different strengths, weaknesses, and playstyles
~Historically accurate (to a certain degree) characters that speak faction specific languages
(Knights - Latin, Vikings - Icelandic, Samurai - Japanese, Wu-Lin - Chinese) I personally believe this adds a level of authenticity to the game
~Overall fun and unique combat system
~Executions are brutal and cool, and some are even references to real world stuff (like references to Game of Thrones and such)

Cons:
~Difficult to learn on a higher level
~Consistent bugs, overtuned/undertuned balancing, and infrequent gameplay patches
~Somewhat of a toxic/unhelpful community
~Heavy powercreeping. Heros that were considered strong become phased out very quickly by overtuned reworks/new heros.
~Lag compensation system benefits the person lagging, not the person fighting a lagging player. Essentially if you have 90+ ping, you're going to be nearly impossible to beat.

The game is worth checking out and the Dev team is on the right track recently. Is it worth 60 dollars? Definitely not. Get the starter edition when it's on sale or wait for one of Ubisofts promotions where they make the game free (and you keep it permanently) for a weekend, and if you like it, upgrade to the full game.
