I usually disregard these reviews for fanboys with happy memories of the game, but I mean this when I say it.

Fallout: New Vegas is much better than Fallout 4.

Yes, its not as pretty.
Yes, it's older.
But in the end of the day, I have fun when playing New Vegas, when it just feels like a grind to play Fallout 4.

I highly recommend picking this title up, as it is quite the masterpeice.

...Yet it's not. It's really designed to make as much money as possible, with simple yet addictive gameplay.

Steep lets you ski, snowboard, etc. on beautiful mountaintops littered with banners announcing the DLC you should purchase. Ubisoft make a fun even if repetitive base game, however unless it's on a Steep discount I would avoid it.

I hate this business model. The game is supported to let me ride, not beg me to pay more money.

I'm acually pretty impressed by Just Cause 3.

I heard that there were memory leak issues, and constant crashing, poor optimation, etc. But, when it went on sale for $7.49, it was too good of a deal for me to pass up on. I have to say, I'm super glad I bought this game. It runs with a solid 60fps in my Alienware 17R3, and it (now) never crashes. I have had one issue with a momory leak, but it was so minor I'm not worried. I love how quick and easy it is to get a car dropped at your location, and the cahos map is super helpful compared to the last game. Overall, I am very impressed.

Possible Fix - Crashing or Unable to Load Game
If your game is crashing or not loading up, disabling Windows' Data Execution Prevention (DEP) may help avoid this issue.

Run Command Prompt (cmd) as Administrator, and then type the following line:
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

Afterwards, restart your computer, and the game will crash less or not at all/start working again.
(If you ever wish to revert this change, simply change "AlwaysOff" to "AlwaysOn".)

Note: If you are not the Administrator of your computer, you will not be able to change this setting. Also, since this changes your system's settings, use the command at your own risk.

It's a very diffrent game in the Far Cry series, and I think they nailed it.

Wow, what a game. I don't want to waste your time, so I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

Story: I liked it! It isn't the most amazing story in the world, but it is far from boring.

Side quests: They fit in VERY well with the flavor of the enviroment. They also can impact your game, whitch is something I wish more side quests in games would do.

Movement (Parcore): I have never, ever seen a game master parcore like this game did. The movement is amazing, and you will fall in love with it.

Weapon balance: This topic is too often overlooked. Games will provide melee weapons, but as soon as you get a gun you never have to use that baseball bat or sword agian. Dying light puts a cap on how much ammo you can carry for each weapon type, and ammo is just hard enough to come by that you'll opt to use your melee weapons. Not that that's bad though! Melee weapons are one of the best parts of Dying light! You can stun your foes, shock them, set fire to them, send them flying with fart bombs.. Wait, really? Yep! Speaking of which...

EASTER EGGS! Dying Light's devs are the KINGS od easter eggs! You will find OP weapons, hidden caves, and even a Plants vs Zombies minigame if you look hard enough!

World Design: Fantastic. There are 2 main zones: First, the slums. It's very slum-y. Then a little into the story you unlock an equaly impressive map called "Old Town". Fast travel between both places is easy, and not at all frustrating.

And last but not least, DLC's: They are not needed. This is what I love. Some games you are missing out without the DLC's, but in dying light they add content, but the game is the same enjoyable experience without them.

My overall rating? 9.4/10. A true masterpeice.

First impressions: Combat is a mix of hit em enough and they die & i'm a boss killing everything with one hit. It's not that great if you ask me.

First hour of story: Cool, just in the beginnig, but I like the style.

Lay of the land: Cool! like the feel!

NPC People: I'm not saying that women shouldn't lead gangs, but when almost every gang leader is a female and all the pawns are men, it makes you wonder if the devs overstated their point.

Movement: It's not as crisp as I'd like, but it's not bad.

Outfits: Dank. (Still can't bring myself to say dope)

Controls: The standerd AC style. I prefer a more crisp style, but it's still not that bad.

Expectations vs Reality: The Industrial Revolution feel is all the way there, but agian, the lack of crispness in controls destracts me. I did expect that though, so I would say it's well made.

How I feel while playing: I do not feel like a boss, which I'm good with, and I don't feel like I have no health. I feel more like a guy used to playing games with a PS4, and then playing a game on XBox. The coolness is there, just I'm not used to the controls, so I can't preform to the max.

What I wish was diffrent: Hands down the controls. Make everything more responsive and crisp, and then make the combat easier to grasp.

What I like: The enviroment, the story, the assassin awesomeness, and the outfits. (They really did a good job with the outfits, they really caught my eye.)

Everything I just said lumped together into a couple of numbers seprated by a dash: 7.4/10

Great game, "unique" controls.

First impressions:

Pros:
-Looks good.
-Reminds me of Far Cry 3, which is nice.
-Throwing ablilitys.
-Well optmized.

Cons:
-Non-ajustable field-of-view.
-Vision gets blurred when low on stanima.
-Lame-looking skill trees.
-And most of all, "slow-downs". This is when you are running, and then stop running. The game doesn't stop when you do, but rather "slows down" your player, then stops them. I see this a lot in games, and dislike it a lot.

Final thoughts:
-Made for those casual players wanting to mow everyone down.
-Worth it for sale price, ($6 USD) only get it on sale.
-Remember, I'm just at 0.7 hours into this game, so this is just a first impression.

All in all, I myself returned the game, because I feel like I already own some games that are better than this. But for someone with limited cash, this looks like something you could get a run out of.

Wow, what a game.

I know nothing about the orignal Prey, so I'm not one of those ppl that wished for Prey 2 over a rebooted game. I do know my stuff when it comes to AAA games though, and Prey will prob be my fav game of 2017. (EDIT: It was.) Prey is also one of the most immersive games I've played in a long time, and I constantly feel like I quite frankly am the prey, which is very unlike the typical super-powerful-god-man-can't-die games we have these days. The gameplay is unlike anything else, with a mix of sneaking around and shooting. It doesn't force you to clear the level before you can move on either, which I love. But what really sells this game is the story. You will find notes from coworkers talking to eachother, emails that point to some hidden loot, and more. I wasn't sure about this game when it first came out, but I can assure you, once you start playing you won't want to stop.

Also, unlike the past few games by these devs, (Dishonored 2 for instance) Prey runs very well, with minmal bugs.

Little tip. Don't try and speed run the game, or you will miss SO much of it. I'm not saying you need to search every room, but feel free to take your time. It will reward you :)

Simpily put, it felt like a dlc. A few unrelated mammoth side missions, and a new club that looks like a normal club, just with spikes. I wish Ubisoft would include these missions and content into the base game, but that'sll never happen. With the mission content being under 1 hour, (took me 40 minutes for all 3) I do not recommend this dlc.

You can play the game and never want this dlc, so that is a plus.

So I am a big fan of Far Cry 4, and I really wanted to give this a shot. I will update this later, but so far on the few missions and side missions I've played, the game is just what I wanted! It looks amazing, and the story is great. (I like story based open world games, and so far I havn't found the story lacking depth.) I would recommend buying if, as 6 bucks is a pretty good deal for a game this fun.
