In this sandbox, there is something for everyone. For the intellectual, for the adventurous, or even for the creative, you will definitely find something from the Steam Workshop that can entice your senses. All you need is a computer that can run Half-Life 2 (though you may need higher specs for certain addons).

In singleplayer, there are literally no in-game rules that you must follow (aside from the "if you do X, the game errors" rules).
In multiplayer roleplay, there are literally a gazillion rules that you must follow.
It is up to you, and you alone (or with friends) to decide.

And when you get bored, you can just do something else in Garry's Mod. And when that becomes boring, you can switch some more. It is a timeless masterpiece. The only limit is yourself (and whatever the admins tell you not to do).

It's worth your bucks - you just need to see the appeal to believe it.
