I love this. Or, I want to love this. It's (mostly) a great little exploration game.

But it hasn't been updated in half a year, and there are still game-ruining bugs that have been reported, but never addressed.

If you're lucky, they won't affect you. If you're UNlucky, all your joy will be sapped away in an instant.

If the bugs were fixed, this would be a hearty recommend. But in its current state, thumbs down.

I love this game. For people of a certain age, this hits the nostalgia hard. The design of the "older" games is spot on, down to the sound it makes when it changes screens (an artifact of very early console games). The games within are varied, often excellent, and old-school hard. Highly recommended.

Just when you think you have it all figured out, they reveal yet another mechanic!

I loved this.

Finished the first 25 levels in 0.2 hours, and what did I learn?

This game hates the colorblind. None of the available color modes help in any way, and there's no distinguishing feature other than color. So it's a whole lot of guess-and-check.

Oh gosh the achievement spam. Way, way too many, way too aggressive. There's an option to turn off achievements (THIS is an option, but for colorblindness, nothing?), but that's not enough in my opinion. If the achievement spam were off by default and you had to opt-in, then _maybe_, but really, achievement spam is just annoying everywhere all the time, and that this game even allows it as an option is another strike against it.

Finally, the controls. I don't like that you MUST hold the mouse button the entire time. 99% of the game time, you're holding the mouse button. My hand is already cramping up, which is why I stopped. There's got to be a better way.

All in all, despite LOVING logic games, and relaxing games, for the above negative points, it's a no from me. Even on sale.

Fun game that scratches a lot of the same itches as Factorio or Shapez. If optimizing production in often less-than-ideal conditions is your jam, this game has it in spades. It's even more fun with friends, allowing your team to be in multiple places on the map at once to tackle the tougher challenges.

And the amount of free updates it has received is wonderful. There's another planet with new tech, is that going to be $5 DLC? Nope, free update!

VERY SHORT!

I liked the original Maptroid quite a lot, and have played through it multiple times (it's shorter than this). This ... isn't that. Perhaps my expectations were too high going in.

There was too much teleportation in this one. It didn't feel like a contiguous map like the original free game. And despite this being a _great_ format for people to create their own maps, there's no Workshop support, nor is any even possible according to the creator. So disappointments on top of disappointments.

It's still not *bad*. I like the Maptroid format quite a lot. And it is only $3, for probably over an hour of gametime. And maybe, like me, you just want to support an indie developer. But for the game itself, if Steam had a Neutral vote, this would be it.

As it stands, in its current limited form, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this game. (I *do* however HIGHLY recommend the original free Maptroid. Go play it! And then maybe come back and buy this to support the developer.)

I love this game! Reached the end on ever-increasing difficulty, and still nowhere near the true ending. Plus they keep adding content faster than I can master it. But I keep coming back for more.

VERY buggy on Linux. Constant freezes/crashes to desktop. It's worse in fullscreen mode, but if you change to a window and try to reposition the window on screen, everything gets messed up.

The gameplay is RSI-inducing. It has none of the quality-of-life improvements of Minecraft or Hexcells. No, middle-click on EVERY zero instead of flood-filling known spaces.

Planting a flag is a definite action, not a marker. You're declaring there IS a bomb here, and if there isn't, it counts as an error.

Not very challenging, but again, I didn't get far with the constant crashes.

I love puzzle games. I'm going to have to give this one a thumbs-down. Ran into the no-objects bug in chapter 8, making it unwinnable. I regret paying money for this game.
