Early Access Review
I like collecting clips of this game. I also like seeing my friends die.

I don't get the complaints from everyone regarding the difficulty curve. This game is more polished in terms of controls and design compared to its predecessor. The only thing that's challenging about the game are the jumps on certain maps, which can be mastered in a couple of tries. Most of the events in the campaign are rather easy, the additional goals providing a little more challenge. Unfortunately, the events get pretty repetetive at some point, because maps keep repeating rather often during the campaign. Overall though, good game and worth a purchase for people interested in anti-gravity racers.

Get the two original games on abandonware, slap a win 10 and widescreen patch on them and play the superior versions instead of Microid's out of touch half-assed ports.

Okay, first patch came out, gave this game another try. Played about 20 Singleplayer matches. The biggest problem, being the missing left handed mode, has been fixed, but right off the bat, playing the game does not feel like real ping pong. The physics seem off, but I can't put it in words. Compared to other VR ping pong games, the physics in this one are definitely the worst. I have purchased both Eleven: Table Tennis VR and Racket Fury and tested them thoroughly and I can now not get back to this game, because of all the inconsistencies in the physics system of it.

Index support also has been removed from the store site, so people are not made to believe that it supports the Index natively, which is good. But I also don't like the lack of proper support for the Index. The virtual controllers in game are still displayed as Vive wands and that means that the paddle's angle is adjusted to the wands from the start, which requires a little bit of tweaking in order to get it right, but it is doable.

The AI opponents are surprisingly competent in what they're doing, even on lower levels. It's actually a challenge playing against them and their moves feel fairly 'human' for the most part. I haven't had the chance to try the multiplayer mode yet because of the lack of opponents, so I can't say anything about the netcode or anything else in it. Compared to other games, the multiplayer seems dead on arrival, waiting for an opponent for about 10 minutes, nobody showed up. If multiplayer is a big part of what you want from a ping pong game, you'd do better by going for one of the other more established alternatives.

I haven't tried the arcade mode because I'm not very interested in it. All I can say is that there are a few game modes in it if you want to mix things up a bit.

The graphics and environments look and feel very nice and natural, thanks to the Unreal Engine and the game runs perfectly fine in terms of performance. However, there aren't very many environments to play in, which may or may not be a problem for you, depending on how much emphasis you set on changing up where you're playing.

Overall, I can now, after editing my review for the second time, no longer recommend this game, as long as the physics are as broken as they are now. The whole package of the game is well polished, but if the gameplay isn't right, it all goes to waste.

Refunded. The game just has way too little content for the money asked. Played it with a friend, we've seen Ll of the content within 40 minutes of gameplay. No real replayablility because there's no way to play all of the minigames from all cassettes combined, like a shuffle mode, and even if there was, it would just not be enough. Minigames would repeat too often.

The concept of the game is good, but most minigames feel clunky and way too precise to reliably get through. Sometimes they require too much thinking to figure out what you're supposed to do. WarioWare on the other hand for example has intuitive, short and fun minigames. The minigames in this game feel pretty bland and uninspired, only some of them are actually fun.

Encountered a few bugs as well, for example with the return minigame, where the balls didn't even cross the net, ultimately not even giving us an opportunity to win the minigame.

If there were more, simpler minigames, the game would be really nice, but with the amount of content there and the quality of the content, it is not worth the asking price.

This game feels like an Early Access title, but it is a full release. Maybe patches down the line will improve the game a lot and if they do, I'd be willing to pick it up again. I just can't recommend it in its current state.
