Been really enjoying it so far. So much more to do than Fallen Order and the reviews were correct in it being incredibly large.

There's definitely some performance issues on the first section, but after you get passed it (about an hour or two of gameplay) the performance improves drastically. Given what the first area is, I can understand there being performance issues.

EDIT: 10/10, I just spent an hour watching my garden grow.

Literally one of the best games I've ever played. This game is so creative and so fun to play with a friend.

I strongly suggest people buy it and play it with someone!

Anybody saying this game is 13 hours long didn't play it high.

10/10 would spend 4 hours on the first bounty again.

Graphical problems are everywhere. I get the same FPS (below 20-30) regardless of which graphical preset I use (Medium, High, Ultra, RTX Medium, RTX Ultra). My system is running a Ryzen 7 3800X and a RTX 2080S with 64GB of RAM. For some reason it also keeps saying that my GPU usage can't go above 40% in task manager while playing this game. My CPU usage stays beneath 60%.

On top of this graphical nightmare, this game is clearly not as advertised in graphical quality. Far Cry 3 had better models than this game. Faces on the models look nice enough though. This game looks like it shipped without HD textures and it's really irritating that it seems that they spent so much time developing raytracing (RT) instead of making sure there was quality textures to support it. I would have rathered better textures than RT, despite how nice the RT looks. RT is meant to help your game look nicer, not be the foundation and majority of your graphical portfolio.

This game has been pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic so far. The tutorials are a lot less clunky and overwhelming than in the previous games and the equipment management feels a lot more streamlined and clean in comparison. I appreciated the amount of continuity they have kept regarding what actually happened in the light novels and in the anime.

I love the series, but the previous game is just better technical-wise. The lack of the ability for units to patrol, which results in large stacks of units, and the clunkiness of the GUI in comparison to the previous game are what kills this for me.

Awesome so far. Base stations and cats make things disorienting at times.

Having played the three previous games on Uber and Death Incarnate (or whatever the highest difficulty is for that game other than mein liben), I don't understand all the backlash about bullet sponges and whatnot. I tried the first mission on challenging and it kept that feel of being able to just kill the enemies with a couple shots. If they had a helmet they need a few more, but that's kinda realistic. I was unable to complete the first boss on Challenging, but I succeeded on my first attempt on Very Hard, and I assume, had I had a Human Partner, I would have been able to do it on Challenging. The AI can use some work, but, for the most part, the sister AI is pretty good.

This game was advertised as a CO-OP game. If you are complaining about that, you chose the wrong game to be playing. The RPG healthbars aren't even that noticeable, at least in a "ruining the atmosphere" perspective. Enemies that are far away don't have them, and generally you must be looking near an enemy for them to pop up.

Anything that uses Gold Bars can still be bought with Silver Coins and it's only cosmetics. Microtransactions are a pay to get quicker, not pay to win.

This game is beatable with the AI sister. You may not be able to complete it on Challenging with it (at least not easily), but it is for sure beatable on the other difficulties, and to be quite honest, that makes sense.

I have really enjoyed this game so far, and the movement and upgrades have been so much fun to play with. Some of the Peps are hilariously awesome.

Friendly PSA about bullet sponges: the game tells you how to kill them. Read the tutorials and realize your weapons damage things differently.
