It's a very chill and relaxing memory game for people who want to refresh or learn a bit of Japanese vocabulary.
I'm definitely looking forward to more content. (and something to spend the thousands of coins on in the "endgame" lol)

Spent 2 hours on a 25 second map listening to footwork, jungle, digital hardcore and rave music just for a red medal.

10/10 would do again

Good game. Definitely a must buy when it's on sale, even when it isn't tbh.

Awesome game!
Was following it since the end of 2k16 but my PC was unable to run it, I got an upgrade now and finally played it.
It was really worth waiting.

Pros:
Classic Collect-A-Thon with multiple hours of playtime
Funny characters and 4th wallbreaking
5 Big worlds with hidden secrets
Minigames and Minecart driving
Great soundtrack 10/10 (not you 4th world minecart)

Cons :
Sometimes the camera is just ♥♥♥♥, but It's really not as horrible as the reviews say
5 Big worlds.... I wasted multiple hours on searching single feathers because of how big they were.
Minecraft and Minigames that try to make you ragequit.
The bossfights were too easy sometimes(I died at everyboss except the first and fifth one multiple times because i jsut tried to speed it up, but if you're patient they're not hard at all)

There's a move you obtain later in the game that just let's you play Superman64, terrible flight control and a bit of punch in the face of players who tried to collect everything in the earlier worlds just to find out later, that they could just fly everywhere..

Overall I enjoyed the game and I hope they bring yooka laylee 2, but I don't think that's going to happen, especially since the critics all rated it badly.
