The game is steeply priced for the content it offers. While it plays beautifully—even with some performance and server hiccups—the PvE matchmaking is a bit of a mess, often taking 5-10 minutes to find a game. It’s definitely fun for a few hours, but I'd recommend waiting for a big discount before picking it up. Even if you’ve never played the first Space Marine or any other Warhammer game (like me), you can still enjoy this one without feeling lost.
7/10 on the Richter scale

The game has the worst servers I've ever seen, I've seen potato clocks with better uptime... The anti-cheat? It’s more like anti-cheat *suggestions*. Honestly, Let’s just say you’re more likely to catch a cheater here than you are to catch a good match on Tinder. Despite all that, something keeps dragging me back to this beautiful disaster of a game. I still can’t decide if it’s the tactical gameplay or just Stockholm syndrome kicking in.

Shoutout to xCole_b (the drunk pro), Joos_ms (the friendly fire tanker), Visoy (the cool guy), and indigo_o1 (the one who always forgets about the 'tactical' part). You guys make it worth the struggle!

Ever had that weird feeling that you're not really you, but just a copy of yourself? Well, SOMA cranks that existential dread up to 11.
10/10, would question my existence again.

It saddens me because overall this is a great party game. Similar to Rubber Bandits, and Pummel Party, but the servers are horrendous. Even when playing a private game, only the host will have a good connection; everyone else is screwed. It doesn't matter how good your internet is; you will still lag.

My friends and I enjoy playing these types of games because we are all competitive but don't have the time to invest in other games. We've never had this issue with the other party games I mentioned. Unfortunately, with our competitive nature, this game doesn't make the cut solely because of latency issues. I wish I could rate this higher, but the servers ruin the fun.
