While the message of the first game is far stronger, everything else in 2 is so so much better.
Characters is subjective, but the gameplay feels better, charting is more fun, music is phenomenal, designs are fun and just man, i love this game so much dawg

This could genuinely pass for a sequel, excellent writing, excellent pacing, excellent ideas.
My only complaint is that the puzzles arent very hard, even near the end, but at the same time, they're just tricky enough to be satisfying the majority of the time.

A great game to just unwind and relax with, a super detailed world, little stress and a good time waster.

A fantastic game with a excellent mix of cold hard STATS and tactics on top of being an RPG.
You can take the game as either a simple click and hope you deal more damage than they do, or you can get a team or up to 4 each with different abilities (at least, depending on how you allocate their stats).
A type of RPG combat system I've personally never really seen before. (I might be totally wrong but hey it's a great game all-round so idc)

Frankly, one of the best games of all time in my opinion.
Fantastic huge open world, thousands of characters, hundreds of dungeons, spells, weapons, and armors.

Add a very accesible and diverse modding community into the mix and you can play the game how you want.

PAYDAY 2, personally one of my favorite games on steam.
Previously the game was only truley fun and Viable with mates, luckily that is no longer the case.

The game is easier and far more fun with friends, dont get me wrong, but now playing singleplayer is very possible, the only differences being it is somewhat harder, as bots cannot interact and are finnicky, and a handful of achievments are nearly if not completely impossible.

Nonetheless, a fantastic game, easily worth its price, the Ultimate edition is by far the way to go, as it gives you all but 2 major DLC and a few minor ones (Major being Hotline Miami deluxe (RIP me cant even play jacket ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aussie laws ree) and the H3H3.) (Minor being promos which is just two melee weapons and some masks).

a great game. it's fun to play and has great gameplay. the time posts are a entertaining mechanic, going though time to find secrets. Overall, it's worth a measly 6 dollars easily.

One of the Best FPS-MMOG-RPG games out there! Exceptional length storyline, easter eggs, side quests and DLC!
