Beacon Pines. Playing through this game, meeting its inhabitants, experiencing its branching, complicated story. It's like feeling nostalgia for a place you've never actually been. That's a rare emotion for a game to give you, and a special one at that. Every time I thought I knew where the story was heading, a plot twist would come along and sweep me off my feet.

Every step along the way, I was only along for the ride. And what a ride it was! This was a special gem, a hidden one, unfortunately. If you're reading this, know that buying this, supporting the devs, and giving the game a chance is something you'll surely not regret. This one is special. Take your time, don't rush, pour some hot cocoa, or whatever else, and enjoy the ride.

Beacon Pines is worth your time. It was certainly worth mine. :)
