This game is great for fellow fans of the Friday the 13th franchise.

The current state of the game is fun and has plenty variety compared to something like Dead by Daylight which might become tiringly mundane. The games engine revamp has helped this game look and run better as well.

Jason is by far the most fun part of the game for me. Newcomers might be overwhelmed at first, learning how to play both Jason and the couselors, but there's enough information to be taken in from offline gamemodes and explanatory segments of the main menu.

All around this game has enough in it to be consistently entertaining and motivating to level up and get costumes and new jasons to play with.

If put into a match with friendly and good players its made even more fun.

With any online game though you're gauranteed to run into both trolls and jerks and just generally annoying people.
Luckily the Dev team has done things to prevent as much trolling as possible, (ie counselors have no friendly fire).

The most important thing to know before purchasing this game is that because of legal troubles between co-screenplay writers of the first Friday film, DLC and future content is cancelled. It's possible though that this could change. Either way I think this game is worth playing for the laughs and scary fun.
