Good fun. Still a decent amount of people playing, though it is hard to get into matches on obscure game modes. Not sure what everyone is complaining about in regards to crashing and performance issues... with all max settings on my 4690k @ 4.5GHz and GTX 980 I don't usually ever dip below 60 FPS. Seems like a pretty good port. The graphics are a lot better than the console counterparts.

There are longstanding remote code execution exploits in older COD titles. Do not run these games in multiplayer on a computer with sensitive data or files you are not willing to lose.

Valve, you should force Activision to either patch these exploits or stop selling the games.

TLDR: Very fun game with some optimisation issues.

The game itself is very fun, and if you are a completionist expect to spend more than a hundred hours playing. However, the PC version has its quirks. I will list some minor and major issues to consider before buying:

1. If I am in fullscreen mode and I alt+tab to switch processes, the game crashes instantly. I don't know if this is just an issue with my setup, but it is very annoying.
2. While this game has better 21:9 support than most, it still isn't perfect. Menus were clearly designed with 16:9 in mind.
3. Framerate varies wildly depending upon where you are ingame. In a crowded city, I can't manage to hold 60 FPS even on "average" settings despite having a decent computer.
4. As many other people have noted, some objects, hair, and cloth "flicker" and jump around, as if their physics aren't working properly.
5. Camera angles/positions are pretty bad.

Of all of the issues I listed, the framerate is my biggest gripe. It is clear to me that this game isn't optimised very well for PC, seeing microstuttering and frame drops everywhere even on lower settings. If I could give a "mixed" review, I probably would. If you like the series and are eager to try this game out, go for it! Just keep in mind that performance and optimisation is a mixed bag.

Early Access Review
Fun game, especially considering that it is free. However, the community is a bit toxic. Less than 2 hours of playing, I have already been reported by someone for "aimbotting". I hope the report system is designed to not ban players just because some salty kids report them when they lose.

Graphics and sound are both amazing, but the gameplay doesn't hold up. There are lots of unfair enemy attacks and placements that are unpredictable without having played the level previously, so there is a lot of trial and error. I wouldn't mind this usually, but the checkpoints are so few and far inbetween that half of the time you are just doing the same parts of the levels more than once.

As for the unfair enemy attacks and placements, this is what ultimately lead me to give this game a negative review. Certain rooms have enemies appear on top of you, leading to cheap deaths for those playing for the first time around. Another enemy can shoot at you through walls, and another throws a scythe that is sometimes literally impossible to dodge due to the size of it. If you die (and you will) you must return all the way back to the last checkpoint, losing any items you have obtained since then. It's a frustrating game of trial and error, unfortunately.

It's really a shame that the anti-cheat has been mutilated with AI nonsense and is now kicking legit players constantly. Maybe this would be tolerable if it actually stopped cheating, but it doesn't.

Decent game, a bit too hard. The controls are honestly awful. To switch shooting directions, you have to stop firing, change directions, and then start firing again. Some parts of the game become incredibly have because of the broken controls. As someone else said, it feels like you are constantly moving underwater, or sliding on ice. The movement and controls are both pretty awful.

Otherwise, the music, graphics, and level design are all very nice. I'd say it's worth the money if you can look past the awful controls.

Fun! I loved Pac-Man as a child, and this game puts a well done twist on it. My only complaint is that I wish there was music playing in the background. Maybe there is an option for this, but I cannot find one. Oh, and could you please add a retry button on the death screen? It's annoying to go through the start menu again and again. Other than that, great game, worth the five bucks!

Usually I don't give positive reviews for games that are this short, but this one was actually pretty entertaining. It took about a half hour to complete the game, but I actually went back and played it again. While it is really simple, it's relaxing and fun. Great soundtrack as well!

Graphics: 9/10 - I love the use of shaders in this game. Bravo!

Gameplay: 8/10 - Sometimes the movement felt a bit clunky, but overall it works very well.

Overall: 8.5/10

Even as short as this game is, I would still recommend it. It's a very solid game, and the ending, without giving anything away, was pretty creative. The soundtrack alone is reason enough to buy the game honestly.
