So, I've seen this game get some mixed reviews, and most people I know have negative opinions on this game, and if your opinion differs than mine, tell me why in the thread, and I'll gladly read it to know your thoughts! Now, I had bought this game on Christmas day, of 2020. I'm currently writing this review on June 29, of 2021. I haven't recently played the game, so most of what I'm saying is from a not as recent patch. This game is a mess. Without a doubt. It had a terrible launch, and it's been buggy enough to be an alpha release, but I digress. I had chosen the Street Kid path, and had played through the story, letting johnny take control of V, to finally ♥♥♥♥ up Arasaka, then sent the rocker boy to be with his love in the void, giving V back control of her body. During the time I had actually played the game, the only bugs I really experiences were mainly visual bugs, that had little impact on the story. For example, textures would be often low poly, even if I had gotten up close, but I believe that's an issue with having the game installed on a hard drive, instead of an SSD. Now, there were a few bugs that I had encountered that were not visual, that actually had an in game impact. For instance, when driving, a nearby car would randomly teleport on top of your vehicle, causing the thing to damage your car, before it drove off. Another bug I had encountered was driving into a car park that was blocked off with a door, and instead of being able to drive down and turn around, I had fallen through the world, after which, the game had respawned me and my car on the road. Now, was the game as cool as the hype and trailers shown it to be? No, arguably not. Was it fun to play none the less? Yes, absolutely. While the main story needed to be longer, I admit that the game was fun to play overall, and it was great to run around Night City, looking at the beautiful, gang filled city. Of course, I couldn't admire it in it's full beauty due to hardware limitations, seeing as my graphics card is two generations old, but none the less, I loved the game, and the time spent. Do I recommend buying it at full price? No, wait for a sale, because it's not worth the full $60 US they're charging, due to how buggy and broken it can be in some instances. Despite this, the game is enjoyable, and was without a doubt, worth the purchase, and I'm not even going to mention the sound track.

Please don't pirate the pirate game

This game. Oh man, where do I start? Well, it's a short game, with some nice music, and well drawn animations. The story itself is where things get really interesting. I won't spoil anything story wise, but I will tell you that the story ends with such a sudden twist, that I didn't expect it. If you're able to, get this game. It's really a joy to play, and it has wonderful visuals. "On The Wrong Path" is a fitting name for this game, for reasons that if I had gotten into it would greatly spoil the story. Play the game for yourself, and you'll have a good time, trust me.

Reposting my review in an attempt to help the savetf2 movement. At the very least, Valve could just kill the game off. It would be the worst possible outcome, but at least it would be a definitive answer. Original review below

As much as I enjoy this game, it's truthfully not worth picking up. The combination of extremely bot filled servers, as well as excess amounts of Valve not caring(tm) makes me just genuinely hate this game that I've once loved.

I may just be a beginner at SFM and have only made posters so far, but once I figured out what I'm doing I found this, like, really fun!
