developers revoked key without explanation - will change this review is there's any updates from developers besides stating they don't sell keys outside of steam/GOG which doesn't make a lot of sense

having said that - please comment below if dev would like me to change the review one way or the other as I am neutral (positive for game, negative for this experience)

gameplay:
cute retro style, game-boy spinach colour feeling platformer requiring a simple jump and action button to solve level puzzles to advance to the next area.

there's not too much backtracking and progressing further for new abilities makes previously visited areas a lot more easier.

difficulty:
difficulty is average and no way to increase/decrease other than challenging yourself to speed trials as an option on the main menu.

control:
I used a controller and it was responsive, however there was an annoying bug where sometimes you got stuck on movable blocks and I'm unsure if this issue exists via using keyboard. It doesn't break the game, just your flow.

time and replay value:
it took me less than an hour to pass it and embarrassingly half as long to track down a hidden pick up item.
As I mentioned, there is a speed/time run option and the game does lend itself to quirks that allows you to pass it quicker. getting hit by lava to fall down floors quicker and possibly double hitting the (only?) final boss per pass over.

value:
a tad short and glad there is a speed run option. IMHO, if there were 1 or 2 more levels it would justify the price point but otherwise a great value on sale at 70%-80% off.

just finished season 1 of the story and it's really well done.
