updating my review again.
the heavy update looks good graphically, it's horrific to play.
the map is too big now, no scp can properly scout it fast enough.
quick games still happen but they've mostly been killed because again, the map is too big, and now people survive by mistake.

i don't feel like writing much more than this. the heavy zone update was such a big update that now everything old doesn't fit properly in it. it feels like part of the map comes from a sequel of the game, while the other parts don't. it's a weird merger of scp secret lab 1 and scp secret lab 2.
humans are doing great, scps suck.
all scps need to be updated heavily to fit in now.
079 for obvious reasons has become ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrible to play. but all the others too.

matchmaking is really terrible, wait 5 to 10 minutes to play against people who have ten times or more hours than you, i'm leaving this review here to remind myself not to install this anymore

Rumble, Dropshot, Hoops, Snow Day are now competitive only
what's the point of making RUMBLE competitive only? no one ever wanted this mode to be competitive, the powerups are random, now when people leave after a 2 score lead no one can fill in. This mode used to be fun, its literally the only mode with a random factor in the game, it should never be competitive only

The sale happened at the same time as the montly rank reset, new players are currently playing against veterans because matchmaking works with rank. The game is good but i found myself playing against a full team (that i found later on discord) where every member had hundreds of hours and was able to abuse every animation in game. I have less than 7 hours. That's not really fair and also easily avoidable. Make sale buyers play against each other and not veterans, we have the "same rank" only because of poor matchmaking design

The concept is fun, the updates are making the game better but there are 2 issues that are too big to ignore:
1 low tickrate servers, you will get shot while undercover and hit detection works in mysterious ways
2 too many cheaters, too often really good games get ruined by wallhacks and aimbots. The deathcam now shows clearly when someone is cheating or not. People are currently shooting full auto from great distances and getting only headshots.

Charming, relaxing, almost impossible to fail, loaded with secrets
