dis game is good, it wants to f-you in the b-hole at any given moment, it will, you will submit, you will enjoy, buy dis game 10/10

This game is a blast to play, as well as a blast to speed run.
The movement is fluid and fun to play around with and re-visit levels to compete against your own or other peoples scores.
the campaign is short, but thankfully the difficulty levels can make for different outcomes and ways you traverse the game.

My only gripe with the game is that most the levels you go through are pretty much introductions to new mechanics and how to go about them, and when they finally initiate them all in the final levels, some work, but a lot feel flat and just slow the game to a bit of a crawl.

but regardless the game is a joy to play and run, i dont think its currently worth the price asking, as i have had some amazing games on the xbox 360 arcade with just as worth wild experiences.
but all and all i dont regret the buy ether if it helps these developers on pumping out more content for the game.

would be nice if we had more game modes like a horde like mode fighting waves of people and mechs etc.

game is honestly a masterpiece.
the story is funny, the game play is simple but hard to master (( was speed running this game and jesus its fun))

the music never get's old and honestly brings this game to life in many aspects on top of the artwork put into this game.

while some mechanics like the time jumping and such can be a pain in the ass if you need to backtrack to zone's as a first time play through, you get used to the pathing especially if you run it for speed runs

(( so this review is a bit bi'est as i have had multiple chance's to complete it and find a proper path without the first hurdle you go through when you first play))

but even with so much backtracking the game does not make it discouraging in the slightest to do so.


the writing in the game is just beyond funny, with certain parts that just make you laugh hard.

if you like game's like "ninja gaden" with a mixture of the absurd, then this game is right up your alley.

huge fan of the game, hell look at my hours.
got all achievements and loved every moment of it then and now as i run this game.

i hope their future game's in this universe keep with the hilarious character's and atmosphere i have come to really love in this title.

The game has since gotten a update and like i said in a past review of this i would re-write a new one based on the games development so here it goes.


I currently have 89 hours in the original alone

This game is amazing to play, the sound of each weapon is nice and crisp, the animations for the guns and picking them up is a lot smoother and better pleasing to the eyes.

The gameplay is just like the original, but polished a bit further.
The level design of the maps are both good and some levels just being bad, but thats based on my own opinion since everyone might like or dislike certain maps.

The powerups are fun to play with and some are just down right bad ass that make you feel like a john wick ready to destroy people.

they have also now given us a "infinite mode"

witch i am happy of the addition, but know, it is nothing like the "endless mode" we had in the first game or as good as the first game.


Cons:

repetitive: game can really drag on going over and over through the cores to just repeat the levels over and over to access the powers just to complete them.

Slight bugs with ai: i have come across ai's getting stuck and walking in place or against themselves but its very minor and once and a while.

Replays: Replays are now back in the game, but their not after each map, instead what we get is a weird also very selective few times where we are "allowed" to press R to watch a replay of us killing a few reds, but its no where near the same or badass as the original was.

Endless mode still not present:

Now before you comment, hear me out, we do have infinite mode, but it is still not the same as endless mode from the first game. in the first game you got to select a level, stay on that level and fight wave after wave, once you lose you get a kickass replay as to how long you lasted.

Here, infinite mode is more on how many levels you can complete, while it can be fun, you still get constantly interrupted by the level stopping after certain amount of kills to head to a new level.

Note to the devs

If the devs see this, please, give us menu level selection and a "few" powers so we can go through a gauntlet of lasting as long as we can on a single map.

This game is something that can be amazing if done right.
While the game starts you off as a two bit little thief, stealing broken ipods and maybe if your lucky a small tv, you work your way up the ranks to stealing cars and big time loot.

The downside of this game is, the AI.
Now, im not looking for f.e.a.r type ai from this small indie team, but the officers are simply broken and no fun.
If you rob a entire other house, and your in another house when someone discovers the evidence of a break in, you can jump into a closet and some how the officers just pop into the house you didnt get discovered in.

They really need some tweaking.

The game can get very repetative at times, but then again i was expecting this, but all and all its a fun game, needs more content and a few fixes here and there, but i feel they have something here for sure.
Not to many stealth games around the market so its nice to see something going for cheap but also is fun to play around with.

Game is pretty fun, but honestly the maps are "WAAAAAAAY" to big for what their going for.
Big maps isnt a bad thing, but with a game that you can swim up and down all over, your constantly feeling empty unless playing with a pal.

But even then it feels pretty vase to a point it just does not grab you as well.

make the maps smaller and its a excellent br game.
it stands out all on its own, the sharks are a good touch, needs a bit more balancing though as they can get very OP with the chum shot, but all and all its pretty nuts.

This game is a fun experience if you like the idea of being a badass demonic mob boss seeking to just rip the hearts or spinal cord from someones anus.

I love this character and i love the demonic darkness that takes over johnny.
The writing is pretty good and the graphics and over all art style has aged pretty well over the past 6 years.

One thing though i kinda do miss is the first one and how it was a bit longer than this one, this game is pretty damn short.

i bought this game when it first came out in early access.
Back then i understood the game being broken, i understood lack of events and so fourth or mountains.

I came back to this game a few years later, i notice its free to play now.
When i load the game up i get slightly excited seeing theres a leveling system and what have you, events and additionals....
then i play the game....Oh my word has this game not really budged at all.

you have snowboarding now witch was not in the early release so thats cool, but oh my goodness does this game blow.

after a while of jumping your first jumps or griding your first rail, you literally have experienced a good 90% of the game.

after that you dive into ether cosmetics or wishful hoping of something more to the game, but honestly by the point you get to hoping for something you already become bored out of your mind.

the gameplay is shallow

only thing really going for it is a few songs on the soundtrack.

but really pay to play?

theres a reason this game went to "free to play" instead of buying the base....they know no one is gonna buy to get to the lifts, instead they wanna charge you once you get up the mountain and have already tasted what could of been a great game.

the map is huge and you can really feel like something was there until this company went and pulled a "warz" on people.

I recently picked up this game looking for something similar to the games like "harvest moon", "rune factory" and "Stardew valley"
like a plethora of the comments before mine.

While i love Stardew valley, i was tired of games where it was pixel art, 2d side scrolling or overhead.
I wanted something that made me feel more like i was playing a "MMO" like "Flyff" but with a combat system that’s not the best but still something fun to do and worth messing with.

So I took a chance and saw this game on sale for 15.00 bucks.

Ever since i started playing it I fell in love with it.
its cute, it had loads of things to do, while be it, it comes off grindy in the beginning, once you start really finding your way about on how to mass produce and gain currency it becomes a breeze and it’s just simply fun.

the story is cute, the enemies I want see more of and all and all i just can’t put it down.


CONS:
ai is a little bit.... well messy, especially your companion ai's as they pop in and out if you get to far from them.
which is fine but where talking like 5 feet away.

No co-op ((right now))

Limited dungeon bosses.
((while i think this is by design, i feel some dungeons need more bosses other than re-hashing the same ones over and over to fight, as you learn their pattern very quickly and you just whip the floor with them at a certain point.))



Other than that I just love the game.

I hope maybe down the road if they continue to make the game even more massive and really put their love and all into it we can see some kind of of a co-op mode for people to have their own servers like they do with "Stardew"

I hope to see the land grown, more dungeons, and just more love that they already have been showing toward their work as well as the community.

This game is addictive to play, its a joy and the soundtrack is a wonderful addition to a really fun drifting game.

Also for the last hidden levels are a treat to the eyes.
