Just tried this and it's fantastic!

So far I'm liking this a lot. I like how there's so many shortcuts and it's quick to restart at the checkpoints when you inevitably crash.

Just throwing my thumbs up for now. It's good, you'll die a lot, and there's no need to wait to jump in.

I played this game years ago and thought the remaining achievements would be easy.
They were, except getting 1000 kills appears to be broken.
I used a PS4 controller and the right analog is for steering the ship, but it's flipped on one axis making it a real challenge to control.
Holding R2 and moving around with the left stick worked fine.
Not recommended since it's broken, can't get the last achievement, and isn't for sale any longer.

Just tried this game tonight and so far it's fantastic!

This isn't a game, it's a boredom simulator. It's not action, racing, sports, or rhythm. It's just boring.
For some reason you start in an avatar and then just get into the car to drive to the end.
No NPCs to race, no rhythm game at all.
There are sliders to adjust the audio but they do nothing.
The achievements don't unlock.
It's 95% off on Steam right now and it's still too much.

I got this game for a little over $1 on Fanatical and at that price this game is worth it. The vibrant colours of the backgrounds and the music are great. The overall game play is fairly lacking though because there isn't any variety. All of the cars handle the same and have the same top speed when at the same level. There are 36 tracks that just get a bit longer and change backgrounds, but it's all the same. The civilian cars level up with you so they are going 300+ km/h at the end. The only variation to the game play was the last level, which was a decent challenge. It was pretty easy to get all of the achievements and fairly fun so I recommend it to anyone that likes old arcade racers and thinks it looks good. 5/10
Also, to complete the achievements you have to enter a code for a time trial. That is not possible on the Steam Deck as after entering the code you can't get the keyboard to go away and can only go back.
