I bought the game to play with my wife locally using two controllers. We really enjoyed "It takes two" and this one felt kinda similar. Nice atmosphere and overall seemed like a really nice game.

That part is not the issue, it works in co-op with two controllers and it is indeed a nice game...

... but it is way too simple and therefor it is really boring :( ...

We played through chapter one and part of chapter two. There is no realy story, we don't know what is going on, there are these ghostly memories playing sometimes in the background about a kid being abused, or something. It is unclear really.

The game is very repetitive. Basically there are obstacles that block your path and you have to try to get over them by jumping or swinging by the help of your partner. And that is the game. The scenery changes (and it indeed looks nice), but the obstacles remain, you swing by them and move forward again, and again, and again... and the lack of story doesn't help either. The whole thing feels pointless.

I have been a gamer for a very long time. I have some really good memories of certain gameplay experiences that I’ll most likely never forget. The playthrough of It Takes Two with my wife will be one of those memories. I honestly can’t really explain how impressed I am overall with the game. The artwork, the gameplay and the overall experience is outstanding. I can’t recommend this title enough. A solid 10/10.

One of my best purchases on Steam, I use it almost every day. Controller Companion helped turn my older laptop into a media center in my living room.

Thank you!

Losing simulator, where you'll fail no matter what you do. It has its moments, but overall a terrible experience.

GoT is fun to watch, not fun to play...

I tried to like this game, but I just can't. First of all I like walking simulators. It can be quite relaxing to just enjoy the scenery, look around, whatever.

The graphics look a little outdated, but it isn't that bad. It can easily resemble art, if you look at that way. The sound is also nice, but the soundtrack is pretty limited. The guitar solos are really good though.

My biggest issue with this game is the concept. The main goal of the game is to visit every place, pick up a special item, read the lore if you want, then head to the "exit". That's all.

It is considered to be a peace of art, where you look around in different buildings, and visit different sites . Overall the possibilities are quite limited, but that is not the biggest issue. The biggest issue is the forced "twist": the end of the world. It is a giant meteor. It is close. Real close.

You are unable to take your time, chill, explore in peace, because every 10 minutes the meteor hits, and the game starts over. That means you have to really hurry to visit all the places to finish the game. This ruins everything and forces the player to finish the game as soon as possible. It took less than an hour for me to get to the end. It could have been even more, since I wanted to explore, but that meteor stopped me on doing so.

If you put that together, you'll see that the 8 euro price for this game is a terrible overprice. You should definetly wait for a sale, or for the game to be included in a bundle.

If you want to get a good walking simulator, get Firewatch. That is a surperb game in every way.

Outstanding quality and work, but it is way too short. I can't really complain, since it is a free project. Every HL fan should give it a try.

The game is rather challenging, looks pretty good even today and the gameplay mechanic that you don't direct control your units is something really interesting and fun. I return to play this game time to time.

I have nominated this game (and the entire trilogy - ME3's ending) for the "WHOOOAAAAAAA DUDE!" award.

There isn't much else to say here. Go and play it. Now.

Outstanding game, playing it was worth every second. It can be rather difficult sometimes so I'd definetly recommend playing it with a controller. From my own personal experience I can say that I couldn't have possibly finished the game with only the keyboard and mouse.

I'd also like to mention the soundtrack of the game. There is a reason that you can also purchase it individually: it is stunning. :)
