The Devs make random unjustified changes to the table top rules, seemingly on a whim, reportedly because a streamer misunderstood some basic concepts, but regardless the changes have resulted in the stronger teams getting stronger and the weaker teams getting weaker.

Until the Devs revert this change and promise to abide by the table top rules there's no way to recommend this game.

Definitely my favourite modern fighting game and now it's free to play! ALL Characters are included, surely a fighting game first?

Free modes are limited to AI VS, Practise, Online Casual and Online Ranked. Free players can also play in Online Friend Matches if their friend has purchased the Core pack.

$20 gets you the core game which includes Offline modes such as Arcade and Survival, Local VS and Online Friend matches vs free or paid players. (This is what any existing owners paid $30 for).

Anything beyond that is largely cosmetic DLC, except the Fantasy+ Replay mode - definitely worth it for the expert players but not worth picking up initially.

Really fun and interesting game. There are easy ways to see all the videos in order, but I recommend against this, play through it naturally - come to your own conclussion about what happened, THEN watch things back in order.
