This review is based on a Gaming handheld Asus Rog Ally at max settings and a Gaming pc with a 3070, 32gb ram and a ryzen 7 5800x

This is my perfect alternative to the fifa/fc24 franchises. Also compared to other arcade/retro games out which have very poor ai.

This stands above them all with a good AI system, the passing, dash and shooting mechanics are very good. The latest update which came out today 1.0 has improved the game even more with more optimisation and fixed some present bugs. As well as updated all teams to today's current player squads.

Going forward I can see this game getting better still with more additional features such as:
Corners call player to come short
In the subs/tactics menu being able to select a captain, freekick, penalty and corner taker.
Improvements to the snow/rain for optimisation, the snow perhaps needs to be reduced to allow less stutter.
Teams benches, staff etc at side of pitch.
Possibly a ref and linesman but not essential.
Perhaps a option for ingame radio linked to a online library of radio stations.

Additional game modes such as 5 and 7 a side. I'm aware this is likely to ne a seperate game called futsal mania which looks good when it's out.

Game currently is a 8.5/10 from me before December 2023 but has gotten awful since this Date, read bottom half review.
The game could and should of went into early access over a year ago but developer wanted to make sure the game was in a excellent day release version which it is.

Pro:
Loads of guns, attachments and leveling system
You die a lot..
Works on pretty much all pcs due to poly format.
Death interaction with enemy..
Loads of fun and casual play

To be improved:
Death glitch stuck between walls
Better clan system, would prefer just a clan preset

Review March 2024:
Game has been fiddled so many times with nerfing cons, making others overpowered. Maps spawns/objectives have been changed and changed for the worse. Affects flow of game now and spawn/objective camping is so bad now.
Also theirs many more cheaters now which appear to be undetected.
I decided to uninstall the game now though i was looking to run my own dedicated servers without signing up to loads of garbage parameters. Never had this on any game before, i have setup servers on over 350 games and never had this before whether its early access or full release. We just want to run a laid back Deathmatch server since theirs none in the playlist. Also capture the flag which for myself and others is also not possible on this.

In the games current state i would avoid, role it back 6 months ago then i would recommend.

Whether your a Starship Trooper fan or not is irrelevant.
If you like full on action shooting absolute chaos then this game is for you, well in the easy mode. If you want to get onto the hard mode etc then you need to be a good team player with a microphone to cordinate with your other 3 squad mates and other squads to survive and complete missions.

overall i'm happy with the game so far apart from some minor issues which is to be expected in a early access game.

Bugs **not the ones you kill..*
1.) Saving video settings then returning to the menu seems to reset the video settings.
2.) Getting in friends party is fine but approximately every 5 games 1 party member gets left in the main menu.
3.) extraction carrier when taking off you may suddenly fall through the carrier and fall to your death but you dont lose your XP lucky enough.
4.) hipfire via left mouse click doesnt always fire so a second press is required.

Suggested Improvements:
Ping system needs separate colours for each member in squad
a better colour or flashing objective marker, a lot of it clashes with eachother.
indepth weapon customisation even if its just a few odd attachments, decals, sprayjob
Dedicated server option coming soon hopefully

In the games current State i would give it a 8.7/10

Can play offline fine, brought to play online on our Gaming server.

Unfortunately after the intro via on our server, played for 10 odd minutes decided to log out and have a break.
came to log back in but keep getting black screen with music playing, other people on the server can see my character move but i cant.
I have tried this on many other servers, on looking into the developers discord theirs no FAQ/Guide to fix this issue. Many other people have have posted in discord with few replies to this issue.
I have tried these steps:
Ran in Administrator mode.
tried all options in compatability settings.
lowest resoultion, fps and ingame settings.
Vsynch on/off
Windowed, borderless and fullscreen.
Latest Graphics and windows drivers.

I have 32GB Ram and a 3070 so spec wise this is not a issue.
When i launch game it interferes with Icue turning all my fan lights off etc so restarted PC and made sure all icue and 3rd party software was not running in task except steam and still black screen.

Was really looking forward to playing this game.

If the developer reads this please let me know if theirs anything that can be done to fix this and if so can you ping everyone on discord when it does happen to have a fix, obviously once fixed my review would be quickly based on game play/expierence.

first 30 minutes is a bit slow to get into the game but after this you get heavy involved, overall the game is excellent except for its short length completing all quests/endings could complete this game in 7-10 hours
