Abandoned, fun enough game but no point in spending money on it now.

I enjoyed the game a lot, even if it does admittedly get very repetitive quite quickly, it's a concept I don't think has been done in any way in the past. Story is... there, it held my interest enough to see it through to the end but it wasn't anything too special, but the game atmosphere and the world around the player is very well crafted and feels alive.

I just wish there were more unique ships, would help with the repetitive feeling of the game.

I once detonated several nuclear warheads in the backrooms just to troll some friends.

Almost every system is on fire, our weapons are down, there are several breaches in the hull, two crewmembers are dead, another two are actively fighting the four man hostile boarding party in the shield room, and our captain with no repair skill is working overtime to get the engines back online before the next barrage of missiles and lasers is fired at us.

Overall, this run is going a lot better than most!

Honestly, expansion doesn't even really do justice to what Phantom Liberty is. It is entirely worthy of being its own side game in my opinion. Go in blind and play through as much as you can without spoilers.

The only gripe I have is that Dogtown runs noticeably poorly compared to the rest of the game even after patches for reasons I am unsure of.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece.

Almost every time I go back and do things I had done in my first playthrough, I notice even more about the world, maybe it's a different way to progress through a gig, or an iconic weapon I didn't notice before, or maybe there is another collectable that I found by looking in a laptop or locker I didn't have time to check previously.

There were many side quests that caught me majorly off guard in what they did, there were side stories that kept me fully invested, and the story of Phantom Liberty was something both very unexpected but very fitting in the world.

I played this game at launch, and it was unplayable and a pile of ♥♥♥♥. I refunded it but kept an eye on it because the world intrigued me despite the RPG genre not being something that held interest to me. Years later and following the updates, as well as Phantom Liberty, I've never been happier giving a game a well deserved second shot. I bought the game + the expansion pre-order at 50% off during the summer sale this year, and I honestly feel that it's well worth the full price after playing through the full base game and expansion.

If you've not tried the game yet and have the hardware that's capable and the money to spend, give it a try, it is one of the best games I've played, and while the initial release was a harsh and deserved lesson in not rushing games to release, the state of Cyberpunk 2077 now is a show of what developers can do when the community stands by them through the hardships.

A modern, genre defining game that had continued support and an active modding scene, Cities: Skylines is a gem in the city builder genre

While I do overall recommend the game solely for the fact it is great at what it is meant to be, the amount DLC, which is often times just enough to be a positive addition, is disgusting. For me to get the last 25 things I don't have is still another £108 off sale.

I don't personally get what other people do from this game, yes it fills a niche in the market apparently very well and for that reason I appreciate the fact that it exists, but I don't get along with the handling at all despite trying a multitude of setups, cars, assist settings and techniques. It's likely that I'm too used to more standard racing games like ACC but to me the cars feel closer to boats that only wish to continue in a straight line while going near 90 degrees sideways.

Yes, the car list is pretty good for having no "real" cars, there is a nice amount of modification options to go along with them too, and there is a tuning system to adjust how a car handles to make it perfect for each user. A paint booth does exist but it felt tedious and clunky to use to me, so don't expect to be able to make something pretty very easily.

I haven't touched public multiplayer, but trying to get a private session with friends to properly function took a fair bit of work to finally be usable, but there is a chance that was down to Steam issues too.

I don't doubt there is a pretty good game here, but it isn't for me.

I wrote a physical note to myself in real life to remember to put both the clips back on the ignition distributor and I somehow still missed them.
