*Sigh* This game gives me a weird feeling. Half of me feels like a child again and the other half is tired of all these lazy remasters and remakes recently. It's a sign that people are running out of creativity. The game isn't bad at all, but it has a few problems:

>90% of the exploits of the original game are still in the remaster
>New bugs (Of course)
>Performance Issues and crashes. Game has a random chance of crashing during loading screens.
>Difficulty scaling is off. There is a significant leap from adept to expert difficulty. Needs rebalancing.
> The graphical charm of the original game is somewhat not there. The original game had an colorful, almost ENB feeling to the game. This game feels like an Elder Scrolls Online reskin.
>"Woke" controversy (Body type 1 and 2 in character creation, similar to Starfield).
>Aside from the graphics and engine, literally almost everything was recycled from the original game. Like, there is no new, original remaster-exclusive music, for example. Looks like they even recycled some animations from Starfield and Elder Scrolls Online. Ironically, the Remaster feels like a mod and the new Skyblivion mod will feel like a true remaster.
>Most of your favorite mods from the OG version may not work or be updated or ported for this version, leaving an empty gap in the modding scene, since this is a remaster of a 20 year old game.
>Achievements are lazy. Literally every single achievement are quest completion achievements
> Local maps have been removed. There are no specific detailed city and dungeon maps....Why...?

I can't wait for the controversy Elder Scrolls VI will stir up.

(Almost) Everything wrong with Dragon's Dogma 2 in a Nutshell:
>Denuvo
>Microtransactions/Pay to win BS
>It runs slower than a snail in a marathon
>The plot has more holes than swiss cheese
>Game has more bugs than a bugs' life movie
>No Health regen. Nerfed and replaced with a loss gauge and having to get kills to restore health.
>No Secrets of Metamorphosis (UNLIMITED Character creation item, that you could buy for 10K RC in the first game) Replaced with Art of metamorphosis with limited uses.
> No eternal ferrystone (Infinite fast travel). Which is really bad because the end game route is time gated. Expecting you to use fast travel for end game, yet they dumb it down and make it hassle to manage.
> Less augments. Almost 50% less augments compared to Dark Arisen. They also nerfed the potency of augments significantly compared to the first game.
> No secret augments. Replaced with Specializations.
> Less Skills. (They removed Fulmination, my Favorite sorcerer skill....) They basically removed broken overpowered crap from the first game, because the first game had major power creep. Most of the skills have been either removed, replaced or reworked.
>Less weapons/armor
>Less weapon/armor slots ("Fashion's Dogma?" Da hell is that?)
> Less Armor Upgrade tiers (Silver Rarified and Gold Rarified removed). Masks and capes also cannot be upgraded, nor does upgrade tiers improve the armor debilitation resistance stats anymore.
> Quests are a mess, giving you extremely vague objectives. Yes, I know I need to collect miasmite for the priest. Could you narrow it down for me where to get it?
>No Hard mode. Game is too easy. Like....REALLY easy. The Elden Ring sweat lords laugh at this game
>Less enemy types than the first game
>Pawn AI is buggy, broken and gets dumber with every patch. Currently, Auxilary Incanting is inconsistent and bugged. Pawn knowledge acquistion is bugged too. They only gain knowledge when in close proximity to an Arisen, so If you complete a quest when your pawn isn't around or is on standby, your pawn does not get the knowledge.
>Dragonsplague. Why would you put such a game breaking mechanic in your game?
>Pawn Knowledge and inclinations have been simplified. There are only 4 inclinations and pawn knowledge has been replaced with badges, Which is also a downgrade. In the first game, Each specific quest and enemy knowledge was listed as pawn knowledge in the pawn's status screen.
>Some classes from Dragon's Dogma online didn't make it in the sequel. Dissapointing.

I'm never getting excited over a game release ever again after this. I'm done being dissapointed. I have no Idea how you managed to ♥♥♥♥ this up so badly. Quite literally all you had to do was remake Elden Ring and replaced the Tarnished with The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Arisen. It would've been game of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Eon. You ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

This game is fantastic. It's like Elder Scrolls had a threesome with Dark Souls and Monster Hunter and had a child and it was this game. Absolutely amazing! 10/10

I waited 10 years for this game and all of it's content to come to the west and it was worth it.

Thanks, Namco.

I've made so many friends on Steam thanks to this game and RE6. If this game taught me anything, it's that co-op/multiplayer games are a great way to make friends.

Thanks. Capcom.
