My friend bought me it, as I had wish listed it.

I'll be totally honest. The game is ok. It's not bad by any means. It's sorta in the middle. I felt the need to be crouching a little too much, expecting to need to do so more than I actually did. The atmosphere makes you think you need to be crouching a lot, but in reality, not a lot around you. Raptors are CERTAINLY over used in this game. The T-Rex is annoying too. Not in the sense it's annoying in mechanics, but more because you get "cutscenes" of it a few times, but meet it once and even then it's kinda a meh moment. Especially for something you've had cutscenes for expecting to meet it and have it as a big bad you need escape from. Then when it comes you have like... maybe 30 seconds with it, if even that. And then that's it. No more. The ending too, I felt like it had a big climax coming or expected more to it, only for such an underwhelming and abrupt ending.

As for replayablity? Can't say it's something that has it, unless you specifically want to get all achievements.

Before I get into this I wish there was a way of saying yes and no for the recommended option. I'll give my reasoning here.

The game is beautiful. Don't get me wrong. It's open world is pleasant to run around in, the story though a little bland is still quite enjoyable. And the combat is decent.

The character creation is a little... basic in the sense it's not got much choice overall. The sliders, sure, alter your appearance but it's not overly great. For example, lets say you wanted a bird? Nope. You want a lizard? Nope. You want a cat, dog, otter-like, sure. But in basic words, it's VERY limited in what you could create for your little creature.

The narrator can be funny here and there and does give a little bit of extra gameplay fun here and there, but can be both repetitive and boring after a while. But I do believe ( I haven't ) you can turn him off.

Replay value isn't a strong point in this game however despite myself trying to play through a few times. And the gameplay itself as others have mentioned also isn't overall great as it too does get very repetitive.

So, overall: The game is fun, and it has a lot going for it in parts. I DO recommend it but be warned with what I've said. Get it when it is on sale as it is a game honestly worth playing but not at full price.

A somewhat fun game, but handles like crap. Hitboxes sometimes fail, the game hardly gives you chance to respond to some levels mechanics and also has repetative humour which quickly becomes unfunny and uninteresting.

I would have said yes, but lately the amount of bugs, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and constant hitbox misfits just make it unplayable for me now. It used to be alright. The odd bug and mistake here and there, but now it's pretty much a bug ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you want to play it and can get past 9/10 matches constantly realizing your abilities that should have hit but didn't, your attacks that hit but somehow didn't do damage, and team mates who don't seem to know what retreat means, then go ahead. But you're gonna soon realize that the game is just as unbareable as it is for me, to you.

It's a great game. Don't get me wrong. HOWEVER... my opinion is half and half. Compared to it's previous counterpart Operation Genesis, it's poor in comparison. JP:OG had much more detail in terms of the park itself. For example in JW:E when it rains people just carry on walking. JP:OG they'd pull out umbrellas to cover themselves. JW:E a guest buys something from the gift shop, nothing. JP:OG one does the same but carry's the item around. JW:E path's dont get dirty, JP:OG you must hire cleaners to keep the park tidy. JW:E no decorative items besides a few rocks and extra trees, JP:OG you could get rest areas and bins and benches. I could go on but in my opinion JP:OG, this games predecessor, is much more in depth, where-as JW:E is more looks and contains mod support. Like I said originally, don't get me wrong I love both of them in their own way, but if you want the one more focused on it's park building get the OG game Operation Genesis.

Early Access Review
If you like worms, you'll like this game. However it's trajectory and aiming system needs a serious overhaul as it's unreliable as hell.

Great game!

But certainly not like the first one at all! They changed too much about it. For example, Lucius 1 you are in a house, you go about the murders following a strict rule of gameplay and how you must do it. Lucius 2 - Introduces a mana mechanic which each time you kill someone you get a % back. No mana you can't do anything with your abilities and have to get it back another way. You can kill your targets and other people in almost any way you want. Explosive gas canisters, electrocution, burning with fire, poison...
Good game overall but felt far too much like Hitman. Like even to get into different rooms you have to kill specific people to get their keys. Get other things like wallets, cigars to use to distract others to then bypass them, discovery bar if you're seen then have to hide to lose them again... Just... wasn't the same game at all. I'm not saying you won't like it, but the gameplay mechanics aren't like the original, so be warned when you decide to get it or not.

This is a fantastic game no doubt about it! I've had great fun playing it! Graphics are awesome, the music is well re-done and it even has the originals aswell in the music area of the hub. If you're a sonic fan you have to get this! The only downside to it is that it's so damn short! But don't let that mislead you. Like I said, it's a great game and definitely worth every second!

With mods as well you can further your fun in this game. There are plenty of mods for those who prefer to play as other characters in the sonic universe.

Great game and very addictive! Even more fun if you can get past the annoyance of your team scoring own goals, setting up your opponants or knocking you out the damn way when you're blocking your opponant from getting to your goal!

So far I love it! It's got a really good story and kept me gripped the entire way through. Makes you think pretty hard, in order to keep everyone happy, and some decisions you have to make are hard, but sometimes you have to make hard decisions to do the right thing.

Well played and I look forward to part 2.

Update - as of episode 2 release

Episode 2 was very well done, especially on rockets parts. You really feel for him and his emotions. Silly as it may sound, it brought me close to tears. As for the rest of the episode's story, pretty action packed once again, although didn't feel like some of the choices matter too much. Most of the choices where it seems they'd make a difference were in rocket's main part about 2 quarters into the episode. However, despite that, I can't wait for episode 3. Keep up the good work, Telltale!

Update as of episode 3 release

Episode 3 only made me love this game even more. It's really action packed and quite the chunk of comedy ( at least for me ) with the interactions near end of the episode. After your choices it makes you think twice if you should've chose something else. However, I did have to end the game and reload it for one part. This was during the time in the bar where I checked on the guardians, and upon checking on Nebula and Gamora they kept telling me to come back later. And there were no other options to talk to anyone other than Mantis, and she was repeating herself. I was forced to re-start at this checkpoint to check on Gamora and Nebula first then everyone else to continue. This kinda annoyed me because it shows the develelopers didn't check this through properly. But that being said, the episode was still very much enjoyable and I look forward to the next!

Update after completing the game:

Episode 4 really had me kinda nervous as the strain grabs you like a predator on it's prey. The characters really want to spit in your face and try to push you away despite everything you throw at them to help. Personally I think this episode was the hardest to do because it makes you feel like no matter what you do to help it'll just chew you up and spit you out into another hammering.

Episode 5... the finale... and DAMN what a finale it was... even though it does feel like a sorta semi-rip off of Mass Effect 2's Suicide Mission. Not saying it wasn't good but for anyone who's played or seen Mass Effect 2's finale, you'll very quickly notice the similarities. But the copying aside, it really was a damn amazing ending and me bringing back Lylla for Rocket, just brought me to tears. I really love Rocket and throughout the game, he was the only one to stick by me despite everything and even wanting to leave, he didn't. So I felt like he deserved to have the Eternity Forge used for him. And it was so worth it for his and Lylla's reaction.

Overall score and opinion:
9/10 - Had a few iffy bits, but certainly one of the absolute best games I've played, and for my first Telltale games game... definately worth EVERY penny... dollar... or whatever currency you guys wanna throw at the store. Go for it!
