- Are the weapons viable?
Yep! They are very unique and strong. The Dawnlight Pistol is simply a must-have pistol when fighting Volatiles. BUT, beware of its lengthy reload time and the obvious loud noise that it creates.

- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
The Outfit comes with a special ability which allows you to throw weapons and then pull them back to you, resulting in a VERY powerful attack option when fighting 1 or 2 enemies.

- What do I think of the outfit?
Another outlandish outfit which doesnt belong in Harran at all, however the Bloodborne and Van Helsing Fan service is appreciated and the theme itself is definitely not something that I expected from this game! A pleasant surprise for sure.

Overall rating: 9/10
One of the Best bundles to come out of this game. Do note that this bundle will almost ONLY be useful to you if you like to free roam during the night time, as the weapons will only become viable during the typical night periods of the game.
If you are a player that does NOT enjoy the night time aspect of this game, I question whether you are getting the complete experience out of this game...
The outfit is useful anytime however, feel free to take on tougher enemies like Demolishers and/or Goons by simply throwing your strongest (1-Handed) weapon at their head.

- Are the weapons viable?
The Rifle and the Machete are definitely worth using.

- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
The Rifle fires incendiary "lasers" and overall does a LOT of damage (If it is crafted from a POLICE Rifle).
The "V27-Shifter" Machete will actually change its elemental effect after several consecutive hits.
The Outfit itself actually reduces damage from falls (But by what percentage I am not sure)

- What do I think of the outfit?
Despite it not fitting in the game at all, the style of the outfit is fantastic and I especially love the Glowing Helmet.

Overall rating: 7/10
A good (but not great) bundle that provides players with a great new rifle, a viable machete with a unique ability AND an outfit with a passive ability. I would highly recommend avoiding the pistol however, as the unique feature it provides (The last bullet in the magazine will have a stasis effect) is more of a comedic novelty than something which will actually help you in combat.

NOTE: Incase the link to the store page is bugged, use this one:
Savvy Gamer Bundle

- Are the weapons viable?
Nope, pretty basic actually.

- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
Nope

- What do I think of the outfit?
IIt is a low effort Rahim-Reskin with a VR headset(?). Not a fan!

- Do the DLC Items add anything unique to the game? (Passive buffs)
Nope

Overall rating: 3/10
Another terrible bundle imo. I am not a fan of the cringey "1337 PrO gAm3R" theme either.
The Outfit is ugly and the buggy skin honestly does not fit the bundle's theme as well as it could. The only part of this bundle that I have used is the Bow as I personally love silent ranged weapons. However I certainly wouldn't have bought this bundle had it not been included in the Definitive edition!

- Are the weapons viable?
Only the Salvaged Cleaver is worth using reguarly.

- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
Nope

- What do I think of the outfit?
Bulky, cumbersome and ugly. Fits in the world of Rust but evidently NOT in Harran.

- Do the DLC Items add anything unique to the game? (Passive buffs)
Nope

Overall rating: 3/10
While this is indeed a free bundle, the actual quality of content that it offers is very sub par.
The 2 Guns are loud and while they look and sound EXACTLY like they do in rust, their damage isnt anything special.
The Buggy paint job looks like absolute sh*t and better versions of the weapons (Eg. Advanced Police Rifle or Golden SMG) can be found outside of the bundle, making it completely redundant.
HOWEVER, if you like playing Rust as well as Dying light, this bundle will feel like some welcome fan service.
Not sure what the two games have in common though?
Zombies aren't even in rust unless you consider the people that have no life and grind for hours on end!

- Are the weapons viable?
Not really, unless you like using 2 handed weapons, there is nothing unique or beneficial for you.

- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
The Rifle is the only rifle in the game to feature 3 round Burst fire which honestly isnt that useful.

- What do I think of the outfit?
Amazing. One of my favourites for sure.

- Do the DLC Items add anything unique to the game? (Passive buffs)
Nope

Overall rating: 5/10
IMO, the Dispatcher Shotgun, Four-wheeler Buggy skin and Protector outfit are the only good things about this Bundle. I never use unsuppressed rifles or 2- Handed weapons so the rest of the bundle is completely useless to me. This might be different to your playstyle however!

- Are the weapons viable?
The Suppressed Pistol is very useful as it does NOT use the "subsonic ammo" type which is very difficult to find and also expensive to craft, it instead uses the REGULAR pistol ammo. The "Soaring Death" SMG is a certified demolisher destroyer, so I recommend using it.

- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
Nope.

- What do I think of the outfit?
Pretty good actually. Although the american CIA uniform definitely does not fit into a Turkish country lol.

- Do the DLC Items add anything unique to the game? (Passive buffs)
Nope, just good weapons like most other bundles.

Overall rating: 6/10
The Pistol will be incredibly useful to players who like to play stealthily as being able to dispatch zombies from range without alerting virals is a massive advantage.
The SMG is actually really good if you dont care about the fact that it is loud. It has the best accuracy and rate of fire for an SMG in the game. The bundle also describes it featuring a larger ammo clip but this is bs as many of the SMGs that I have found in the following expansion have the exact same sized clip (45 Bullets)
A great bundle for gun lovers, avoid the sh*tty cane though.

- Are the weapons viable?
Definetely! The Combat Assault Rifle's suppressor make it probably the best in the game and the Burst Fire pistol is a very strong weapon as well, however it is not suppressed.

- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
The Volkan Combat Assault Rifle is the ONLY Assault Rifle in the game that comes with a suppressor, making it incredibly unique and useful. It also features a 45 Bullet Magazine Capacity compared to the standard 20 in a Police Rifle.

- What do I think of the outfit?
Not a huge fan if I'm honest. the Mask looks terrible and ruins the rest of the outfit.

- Do the DLC Items add anything unique to the game? (Passive buffs)
Not really, the sword supposedly has a "damage boost system" but the game never even explains to you how it works, how to activate it or how much this boost is..

Overall rating: 8/10
The Rifle and Pistol really carry this bundle and are must-have weapons for all types of players.
Skip the rest of the bundle though. It didnt really interest me.

PROS:
Nice Enemy variation. There are 9 differnt enemy types including 2 bosses.
The Story mode boss battle is great, but very difficult! (However the raid-mode boss battle is bad)
Lots of well hidden secrets for perceptive players. Raid mode has a total of 16 secret areas/ rooms to discover.
You have access to a variey of weapons including maces, long swords, axes, bows, staffs, elemental flasks/bombs, mallets, bludgeons and even... a shotgun!
Raid mode was longer than I was expected. (20 minutes to over an hour depending on playstyle and how often you loot)
Selectable Bounties add replayability of sorts to future playthroughs of raid mode and offer rewards back in the main game!
utilise all agility, combat and legend skills earned back from the main game here. The skill trees stay the same, so you can still defeat enemies via dropkick, drop attack, grapple, power attack and more. (Assuming you have already unlocked those skills)
There are many different "arenas" to challenge you, some of them will test your agility expertise rather than your combat proficiency. Be careful not to fall into the lava pits!

CONS:
There are SO many repetitive areas with only 2 different objectives throughout all of raid mode: Kill all enemies or active a shrine to open a door to the next area.
There is no option to sell anything that you pick up, you can only dismantle picked up melee weapons for a few coins.
There is no stash to store weapons and items like in the main game. Your inventory space is all you get!
No option to upgrade weapons despite them showing that you can!
The currency that you earn in Hellraid is ONLY usable in the main game (You can buy Hellraid themed weapons and items next to the arcade machine). whats the point of earning money in hellraid if it isn't even usable in that mode?
Most of the bounties that you can pick up are very generic and not creative, many of the requirements simply ask you to do the following generic actions:
- cut off x number of limbs
- decapitate x enemies
- throw elemental bombs at x number of enemies
- kill x enemy type
- kill x number of enemies
after a while these get very stale and made me lose interest after completing only half of the avaliable bounties.
If you keep seeing new bounties with the same requirements as the previous bounty that you just completed, there is very little incentive to complete them!
All of the Enemies have far too much health on the hard and nightmare difficulties, attacks with your melee weapons just bounce off enemies several times before you even feel like you are doing any damage. They dont have health bars and only show blood effects when they are close to death. There is absolutely no visual indicator to tell how weak an enemy is unless they are almost close to death!
Kicking and tackling enemies is honestly useless in this mode. when fighting skeletons (especially the armoured and shielded skeletons), almost every basic attack that you perform will be countered or dodged. This is infuriating as it leads to very lengthy battles where you can really only rely on weak throwables and spamming your basic swing. Repeating basic attacks that just bounce off of enemies, yet having NO other effective tactic to vanquish them is absolutely infuriating!
To give an example of a frustrating enemy, the "Shielded Skeleton" is virtually unbeatable unless you wipe every other enemy because they can easily counter almost all of your melee attacks, they will also turn around very quickly, meaning that you are completely unable to get behind them.
They have NO discernible weak point to exploit. Normally enemies in games that have shields or some other large form of armour will ALSO have some form of weakness that the player can exploit to their advantage (eg. Dodging their attacks multiple times in a row will leave them tired and vulnerable to your own attacks for a short amount of time). Whats the point of this enemy? If it were a Lone Miniboss type enemy I can maybe understand it a little bit better, however it truly seems that the enemy design in Hellraid is far more rage inducing than it is intuitive.
The following 3 achievements are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE:

1)Fast as hell = Finish Hellraid under 30 min
Forces you to rush through the DLC and lose out on good items that would help you in the final arena. At least you dont have to play Hellraid for too long to obtain this achievement1

2)Non omnis moriar = Finish Hellraid with only one life left and 0 medkits
Here is an achievement that rewards bad players for struggling. WHY?

3)Wake up! = Finish Hellraid on Nightmare
An awful, awful difficulty made 10 times worse by the incredibly damage resistant enemies that can stun lock you, parry and dodge your attacks frequently. Not to mention that most of the rooms/ arenas in the DLC require you to kill ALL ENEMIES before the door to the next area will unlock / open. It is also a blatant death sentence if you play through the mode solo.

Overall Rating: 2/10
It is easily the weakest Dying light 1 DLC out there.
It might not be the shortest DLC when compared to the Bozak Horde, but it is just so repetitive and artificially difficult that you will be bored and/or frustrated after completing 2 or 3 Raid Mode runs. PLEASE play this in coop if you simply must play it, It'll make the whole experience far less stressful.
Though I would much rather play Bozak Horde with a friend over this!

Low effort Nostalgia Bait
- Are the weapons viable?
To me, only the "Your First" Pipe was worth crafting and using.
It is worth noting that the Double-barreled "Hellbeast" shotgun is stated as having an increased fire ate, however a double barrel shotgun can obviously only fire twice before reloading and both of those shots are semi-automatic so what is the point of increasing its fire rate??
- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
Nope!
- What do I think of the outfit?
Meh, its a strange look.
I am really not a fan of those camel-toe shoes!
- Do the DLC Items add anything unique to the game? (eg. passive buffs)
Nope!
Overall rating: 4/10
A very disappointing bundle. For a DLC that is intended as a celebration of 5 Years of Dying Light, I was very disappointed.
The only saving grace of this bundle is the "Your first" Gas Pipe Melee Weapon. You are able to craft it from any 1 handed melee weapon and even from a Pickaxe. This is an important factor as the pickaxes in this game have a MUCH higher base damage value (Because they swing slower and use more stamina), as a result you can craft the melee weapon from any Pickaxe (Preferably Orange or Gold Tier) to get a massive damage boost, AND then also upgrade it with 3 x king/clicker mods to get even MORE damage!
As good as this DLC melee weapon is, it really is the only saving grace of this DLC.
Definitely give this one a miss unless you are a massive DL1 fan like myself and you simply must have all the content!

- Are the weapons viable?
Holy sh*t yes, the Polearm is especially OP. Due to its length it can hit enemies from quite far away once swung. It also is quite cheap to craft, making it especially useful for early game players.
- Do they add anything unique to the game? (Eg. new mechanics or buffs)
Unfortunately not.
- What do I think of the outfit?
I love it. The Gold straps go nicely with the red Tactical outfit.
- Do the DLC Items add anything unique to the game? (Passive buffs)
The Polearm has a damage boosting effect after 3 successful hits, however the other weapons and also the outfit do not feature any special abilities.
Overall rating: 8/10
The Polearm and Crossbow are the highlights of this DLC. While the crossbow has a slow reload time, the damage output makes it worth using, especially for early game players. I also highly recommend using the 2 melee weapons as they can be upgraded further with king mods and orange tier blueprints to add elemental effects! The long reach of the Dragon Xi polearm is especially strong as it can hit many swarming infected at once. It's power/ charged attack can also easily kill an Alpha Volatile in one shot (If you aim at its head.).
