I have found about 6 or 7 bugs, but none of them have been major or game breaking. I have a 1660 ti and I managed to get 50 to 120 fps (depending on whats going on), with high graphics (no film grain, no lens flairs). Make a point that I have a Ryzen 9 3900x, as well as 64gb of RAM, but honestly, for a GPU being the worst part about my PC, this game looks and performs awesome. Story is rich and interesting, Skill trees allow every character a chance at a completely different playstyle, lots of different weapons, all of which perform very well. I recommend this game for sure.

After 8+ hours of tinkering, file management, over 15 full game re-downloads, and some help from the community, the game couldnt boot until. I have too many hours "IN GAME" to refund, so I just left this game sitting for a while. Now I can finally play. How? IDK. This was a fresh install, and it just works now.

Somehow, despite the hassle of getting the game to boot past the startup credits, this is still one of the less buggy Saints Row games. How? I have no fkn clue.

Game breaks with EVERY origin update. The whole thing is honestly just depressing.

The multiplayer (the main selling point) is absolute garbage. There are some idiots and some major try hards, pretty much everyone else is hacking aside from the usual guy who kinda gets his Sh!t wrecked and says "gg" after being taken out by a team of hackers and try hards. I mean, nobody normally gets 1,229 kills in a standard match. Not legit. Doubtfully even on a XL map.

This is old now, multiplayer is dead, and sad. Hackers and max level BF2 fanboys are all thats left.

Single player game modes are the funnest part left of this game. Gets a little boring sometimes, but it was kinda fun. AI has aged like fine milk. After playing some doom eternal, I am a literal god in this game. Maxed out enemy AI, set it to expert and spawned in just by myself, and killed EVERYONE without dying as obiwan.

Story... oh yea I forgot this had a story. Forgot it after replaying it too.... Protagonist "A" is an Elite Pro and now a rebel. Protagonist "B" is evil just for the sake of being an evil bastard. Never heard that one before....

Mods don't work. yea i changed this again, its not even the origin version anymore. this game is dead entirely and is a waste of space, save yourself the time and just buy a different game, mods are busted even if they dont instantly crash. Its pathetic, downloading 3 mods changing different music in different parts of the game overwrite it each other somehow. And the mods are a total b!tch to figure out too. Frostbite is a garbage engine.

You have to install and run Origin anyways but mods dont work either way, so just dont buy it

THE GAME FINALLY RUNS!!!!!!!!! It takes a massive sh!t starting and crashing and starting and crashing, but it boots after maybe 5 minutes

Then it uses 100% of CPU, GPU and ALL 32GB ram........

WHO MADE THIS USE 100% OF A 3080TI, which came out in 2020?????? You had to wait to run med settings until 2020 to use only 90% of your GPU???????????????? That doesnt sound right........

Played this game before and made a lot of progress? By all means, flip that thumbs down the right way up and get back in to enjoy the changes!

New? Don't even bother.

I played this game since about when WoW really started to die, and here are my thoughts for new players:

This game is plagued by EXTREMELY overpowered enemies, and you, "the all powerful player" have to repeat the same fight until you finish you'r mission, or until you grind to level 60 (or higher) to have any form of gameplay variety. Then you still have to grind for gear... OR you can pay for it. This game tries to bully you into buying overpriced items. Unless you already have a character at least level 60 from like 2014, your wasting your time(level boosts also have consequences, so if you were like me and got a more sale from back when the games still charged people, it basically took your money and ran very far away).

The Old Republic actually has a decent story so no major complaints there. Could be updated every once in a while, it does feel... short? For releasing in 2011 the story just feels a little short.

Improvements needed:

No (or better) microtransactions, updated graphics, bug fix (maps+missions+houses+ships+inbox), Server issues (solo+PVP), repetative/boring gameplay, weird/buggy controls, occasional hacker/bots, constant spamming (and I mean sometimes it is CONSTANT)/no more chat ads, clans may use you and just toss you out like nothing, lifeless characters.

Pros.
This game is really good, my personal favorite of the new Doom games (Doom 3 and up).

Gameplay is very fast, combat heavy, requires some strategy and skill.

I like the platforming, even when it is a little clunky, weird, and sometimes just downright stupid, but it reminds me of Doom 2, and adds a nice change of pace.

Cons:
The maps have a few unfinished areas, often clearly visible, even in a rush.

Corners are buggy, and so are portions of levels.

Weapon upgrades sometimes don't work (depends on the upgrade/weapon).

Almost constant crashing, ESPECIALLY on master levels.

FPS drops have been occurring more and more often, and general stability of the game is starting to degrade.

Enemies have become more buggy. Not just the AI either, but also just rendering the enemies in.

The game has no anti-aliasing setting, so you have to press ~ and type (2k resolution or smaller):
r_antialiasing 0

There are also other settings to improve stability that I actually think Make the game look better when turned off:
Set sharpening anywhere between 20-50.
Disable chromatic aberration. Causes blue fringing around edges.
Set film grain to 0.
Set dynamic resolution to static or off.

Have not touched multiplayer in a long while

Absolutely beautiful game with very fun game mechanics, and it is easier to run than most games that came out around that time, *cough *cough fallout 4. The story is more interesting than ever, and the entire game is incredibly fun, even to this day. I had 2 issues, one of them is water physics with clothing, and the second was a bug when finding one of the pieces of mastercrafted armor. The second issue I had is patched now BTW so really no big issues, and the game still hold up to this day, for me.

Early Access Review
This was a hard choice for me. I like this game, don't get me wrong, but its so "survival game" focused you almost forget its a pirate game. It actually does feel like Ark (I wonder why) more than it does a pirate "fight, loot and prevail" type game. And the long grind to do ANYTHING is such a chore. Single Player is awesome, and multiplayer COULD be cool but it is definitely not right now, it really sucks right now. Don't get this for multiplayer if you hate grinding, ESPECIALLY if you stopped playing Ark because of the long grind. Great idea, don't get me wrong, and if it keeps improving then I would really recommend it (which is why I am recommending it now, I am assuming they will continue patching and upgrading the game), but right now, it is just a single player game with maybe a friend or 2 on your own server. Truth be told I got this game for about $4.50 and it is definitely a game I could enjoy for a while. Spawn in a small ship, along with 25 gold, skip most of the grinding, and have a blast in single player while you treat it like an actual pirate game.

My second favorite game in the series! Assassin's Creed 2 is the only story that topped this one for me, The new ones just aren't the same. This game is so much fun to replay and have fun with.

Super fun little game, kind of just meant for messing around. Gotta say though, some bugs will just completely destroy a save. Had a bug to where I was no longer capable of learning any skills. It made the game EXTREMELY difficult. Apart from small bugs making the game a pain, it isnt half bad, especially for a discounted price.
