Highly recommend, its well made for just being released, its scary, great with friends, already has great modding support, and feels very good for a early access game. I will say, there isn't much outside of do quota go further into planets but that's what the loop is supposed to be and the enemies are very good. Overall 9/10, while yes once you do the not so large amount of content, there's still a lot to mess around with and its funny when my friend screams before he dies :) so lots of funny moments and scary.

This is an early review, mostly to just put my opinion out there.

It's great, the remastered sprites look amazing, the levels feel just like before yet still have some new things to them. I genuinely enjoy the providence trials, sure they can get tedious but they provide such different challenges and things that are just stupid but still a cool display of whats possible. The new characters so far feel great, I have loved the drifter even with her weird play style and no movement options. I will say for anyone who 100% the original risk of rain unlocking content might go by a bit quick (I idled for about 16 hours on this game so I have a much lower play time than it eludes to) but still its extremely enjoyable and its nice to see the amount of work and effort has been put into this. Also music is amazing, Chris has always made good music for these games and some of the remastered tracks are amazing. Overall, i'm happy to see this game even appear, and i'm glad I bought it.

It's a game, not many game like it. Very cool! Gas masks too, makes it a 11/10 game because of that.

Ok, love the game right and I do not remember buying this DLC but the price for what you get is just not ok. Here's why, the base game is 30 dollars right for 16 maps, 15 classes (all with unique abilities and play styles) and access to all modes besides cataclysm.This DLC gives you 2 maps for 10 dollars, so that goes to 5 dollars per map. Lets calculate the base game (I'm gonna be mushing together the maps and classes just cause its easier that way and almost every class is playable at all difficulties) that is pretty much just 1 dollar for one piece of content. An even worse part about it is there is nothing new besides the 2 maps, that means NO NEW ENEMIES, No New Mechanics, No nostalgia, nothing really memorable like wow I get to have a hold out section on a map then leave, next map is you are literally in a tunnel and its dark and you have to use a torch to light it up which I guess is a little bit of a new mechanic but it's not good for the price.

Only played it for a little bit, but pretty good.

It has fun characters Fun character customization and all over its a great game
