Quite a good game.

Art style reminds me of Polytopia- and the gameplay is excellent! After 11 hours, I still haven't made it to wave 40 yet- and I am not frustrated. Feels like I'm making progress. Also, for such an early game being able to reset my skills to invest in different trees is a nice touch.

The pace of updates, fixes and new content is astounding! The game itself has a really large map with a ton of secrets, some fairly advanced weapon customization and basic base building. Melee was weird to learn at first, but I get it now. I keep alternating between old saves and making new characters and it's exciting no matter what.

Surroundead really rewards in-depth exploration and keeps surprising me with its depth.

Wow, I didn't expect to have so much fun. I am impressed with just how much 'game' there is to play at launch. I am also impressed by how many updates this game is getting every single week.

I played the first one, and I already like Thief Simulator 2 better. The mechanics, mini games, stealth logic, tools- all of it.

You know, this isn't usually the type of game I like to play. Yet here I am at ~100 hours and I'm still not bored. It's different every single time and I love it.

This was my first ever FromSoft / souls-like game... and man, I chose the perfect time to start! I've never played a game that is so fulfilling. The difficulty of this game should still be high for new players to the series, but even so, once you finally prevail it feels like such an accomplishment. New game plus, here I come.

Insurgency is a wonderfully balanced game. It sits right in the middle between fast paced FPS and tactical shooter. I'm not a fan of Squad... just too complex for me. But I fell in love with Insurgency co-op. Never seen a more tense, consistently fun game mode than this game's co-op. I just find myself coming back to it and it never seems to get old.

The sci-fi/outerspace version of Barotrauma

Just Cause 2 is an open world, GTA-esque game. For as old as it is (2009, maybe?) the game still looks graphically stunning.

PROS:
-Beautiful graphics
-Active modding community
-Fun gameplay
-Large variety of weapons and almost infinite variety of vehicles
-Usually goes on sale for dirt cheap (sometimes 80% off)

CONS:
-Can be a bit laggy if your graphics card isn't up to snuff
-Crashes on me on occasion for no apparent reason
-Voice acting could be a lot better along with dubbing

Overall, this game is a fraction of the cost of GTA games (typically) and is just as fun. I have 60 hours played and it is still fun.

The Forest is an open world survival-horror game that nails the genre. For a game in very early alpha (version 0.03) this game looks incredible. The graphics are stunning. The environment is teeming with animals of all kinds, and powerful mutants who seem to be just as curious as they are cannibalistic. This game is realistic to a great degree. You have to eat and keep your energy up, rain makes you cold and wet, swinging an axe takes up energy, and you get bloody killing living things and have to wash it off in a body of water. The Forest has such a potential to be an amazing game once fully developed that $15 is an absolute steal right now. Hop on board early, and you'll get to appreciate the time it will take to make this game what it can be.
