As someone who's been playing Monster Hunter since the first one. The game is very easy when it comes to difficulty. But it is very fun. There is A LOT of hand holding but the overall game experience is a 7/10. They've gutted a lot of features and condensed it which is...a little awkward but it works well enough.

Optimization is kinda awful especially if you have an AMD card. This always happens with every Monster Hunter launch unfortunately.

A lot of...shady micro-transaction's but it is a Capcom game and they have a horrible track record with this.

If you're looking for a more relaxed Monster Hunter and just something to enjoy casually. This game is very enjoyable. The story is boring and drags on but game play loop is very enjoyable.

A decent 7/10

I love this game but the developers need to take a note from HellDivers 2. Nerfing does not equal harder difficulty scaling.

Please do not make the same mistake

You chose to nerf the players but left so many issues untouched. You promised a big content update but we got a undercooked "higher difficulty" and ONE operation mission. Amazing.

Yet many hit reg issues plague the game. VASTLY unbalanced and under performing perks. Assault is still the worst class in the game and tactical can still mag dump elite enemies without breaking a sweat.

Also armor finisher change is probably the most out of touch thing ever. Just remove Sniper at that point

This was a great game but the developer team have dug this games grave

Constant questionable balance changes and drip content that honestly does not add much to the game.

Community managers often mocking their own consumer base at any given criticism.

And finally Sony and developer team doubling down with the PSN requirments. Although it may not be required ANYMORE. They have restricted access to other countries were PSN is not available

The game itself is a gem but the team running it are just not making the best decisions for the game.

Id wait a couple months before the game is properly released. Its essentially in early access right now
