Pros:
-killer music
-utilizes original ideas and concepts and holds up well
-solid mechanics
-shows a semblance of old fps games (doom, quake, etc.) in a good way
-unique and fun weaponry
-pretty fun & funny overall
-great on world-building
-secrets and unlockables that serve a purpose rather than just being there.

Cons:
-can sometimes drag out
-parry system works 75% of the time(or could be certain projectiles can't be parried (either way should be specified as it is an important part of the game-play)
-lack of stealth (fps games like quake wouldn't have this anyway.
(don't use the crossbow when friends, family, or partner are present LOL trust me)

Postal Brain Damaged really stands out from the other Postal games. it's not an open-world game like the other 4,(not including 3). It takes after the old FPS games of the 1990s-2000s and does it very well. Games that do this now are really a dime a dozen, I can say that Hyperstrange and Running With Scissors broke the mold with this one. It's fun to play, adds the right amount of challenge to it, and adds a lot of replay-ability if you are a speed runner. It adds just the right amount without taking itself too seriously which can always be appreciated. It has a very unique charm that shows it does take after these old FPS games but doesn't rely heavily on it to make it good.

In the long run, RWS and HyperStrange gave us a different Postal game that is entirely different, and one that didn't stray too far away from its roots. Postal Brain Damaged is worth every cent.

a huge thank you to HyperStrange for giving me an early copy of the game

I've been waiting for steam to have their Steam awards just to review this game so not only do I get credit for doing so, but I also get to share this heartwarming and wholesome game to everyone out there.

This game was recommended to me by steam, the minute steam took me to the store page, I fell in love instantly. Not only is the message something near and dear to me, but the art-style and the music just sold it. There are a lot of games out there that try to convey the same message by shoving it down your throat, Alba however, does not. It gets the message across in a story that's not hard to follow. You could play this with anyone, and they would agree.

Alba has class, charm, a good message and a lot of heart. This game was worth every penny, and if you buy a copy of the game, the company will plant a tree for every sale, and that's saying something.

This game is great, but charging people $35 in DLC just to get a proper Co-op mode (that should have been in base game already and if not as a free update) that doesn't even work is absolute garbage.

I so desperately wanted to like this game. I've always loved "rats" styled games. (I call it that based on the rats maps in games, there's not really a word to call a game that shirks you down to toy size.) The game had nothing I expected, I didn't like the customization approach they took and I didn't enjoy the horde mode which was a little confusing for me. I bought this game mainly for the online Death-match. When I tried playing an online match it kept failing over and over again. Either it's because it's a dead game, or people are just playing the horde mode.

End of the line:
If you like horde mode, this game is for you.
If not keep searching

it's 1999. I'm on the family computer (1997 Dell E520). I know it's 2019, but when you're playing this game thats how you feel.

I have seen this game on Instagram back in 2017 and thought it looked amazing, It gave me a very vaporwave feel, which I absolutely love. I was so excited for the game to come out I actually searched it up every day until it was put on steam so Ican add it to my wishlist. Once it came out I was not disappointed, the game gave me exactly what was advertised with a few minor faults. As I mention in the cons the camera angels for me is a huge problem. it's one of these game where you move the camera does too. There is no freedom to move it around besides having different camera playstyles like a birdseye view and first person, but even then it's a problem. Birdseye view is just way to confusing and first-person is just ok. The way you draw is fantastic, for people who don't have a drawing tablet (like myself) it's just like using paint which is something I'm sure people would have wanted anyway. The atmosphere is incredible as the first couple of hours I've played I easily got lost just exploring and looking at the monuments and statues. As you progress you start to find different colors and paint brushes scattered around the map which is also very fun. In Art Sqool your Art is graded as you hand it into a professor. However, it feels very scripted. like every 2nd and 3rd assignment I would hand was always a B. I could put one sticker on an assignment to "draw something beautiful" and get an A but work my butt off actually making something and get a C, I'm not sure if this was intentional but it doesn't feel at all like I'm doing anything. Whats from stopping me from making all my assignments lines? I'm sure out of 56 or so assignments 24 of them will be an A. My last problem with the game is the music. In my opinion, it is very bland and adds no type of enjoyment or immersion. I muted the game and played some future funk and vaporwave in the steam overlay and was immediately drawn in.

Is the game worth the Price?
- (unless they plan to have updates for the game) No.

I do recommend this game to the high heavens, but do wait for it to be on sale. I understand the author put in a lot of work into this game seeing as it is his/her's first. They're most notable for making Cartoon network and Adultswim ad's with their art. It's not easy going from advertising to making a video game I would imagine, however, $11.99 for ms paint and a few Mario 64 levels I believe isn't worth that price. $5.99 seems like a better way to go (unless they have updates for the game)

At first, I thought this game was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Left 4 Dead 2 clone (based on the games HUD) but as I played it more and more it grew on me. It's a lot of fun seeing what weapon I could unlock, it's nice to hear that .wav music behind the country scenery. Sometimes killing certain pigs felt so satisfying. Finding secrets within the levels is also pretty satisfying. My only regret was not playing all the levels with friends, I feel like with a group this game could be so much fun. Plus there is an easter egg where the farmer sings "Rhinestone cowboy" by Glen Campbell one of my all-time favorite musicians, so they get + Points from me on that. Pick this game up either now or when it's on sale. Either way, you will have gotten your monies worth.
