I don't have time to write a fully fleshed-out at the moment but I feel the need to at least show some love.

This game is beautiful, charming & unbelievably wholesome! I have so much nostalgia for the Moomin Trolls, and this game perfectly encapsulates that all into one neat package. The music, the visuals and the characters all fill me with so much joy! I had a blast helping all the wee characters in their personal quests & the overarching story was so impactful and enjoyable to experience.

Overall this game is fantastic for those who're fans of the early books and show, or for someone looking for a charmingly simple yet beautiful & story rich experience!

This game fails at most points, which is a true tragedy. Especially considering shooter games are among my favourites to play & review.

I genuinely struggle to point out any positives, which is what I usually like to focus on in my reviews.

Some negatives:

The hitboxes in the arenas are off by a large margin, making most gunplay feel unrewarding and awkward.
On top of this, the player models seem a little off as well - often shooting below someone's feet with the sniper results in a one hit kill, which sucks to die to and doesn't feel great to kill with!

The menu's are clunky and way too deep, without an option to leave them all at once. You have to click back about 7 times after changing up your loadout, which takes a good few seconds.

Speaking of loadouts, the choices aren't just limited but completely barren - there's one choice for both the sidearm & the melee with a lacklustre choice of shotgun, rifle or sniper for your primary slot.

The guns themselves are poorly balanced as well. The melee deals hardly any damage, which is the same for the pistol & the rifle. The only guns that work are the shotgun, which is inconsistent at best, and the one hit sniper - which is almost unusable due to the high sensitivity it forces upon you.
On top of all this, the models were terrible to play with, the scope on the AR is horrid & the model of the shotgun is absolutely the opposite of the displayed one with a reload that doesn't match your ammo at all.

Finally, the voice acting is absurd and the audio is aggressive.
Multiple times I had a random dude whispering in my ear about how much that fall damage hurt him & the kill quips were embarrassingly wrong. 'One shot one kill' kind of thing after spraying a full mag into someone.
There's no audio sliders for things like music, so you're constantly hearing the same looped tune whenever you're in the menu which can't be adjusted without muting the whole game.

As for the... 'adult content' in the game.
Once again this wasn't my primary focus when playing the game and I don't have enough reference to compare it to, but the quality was frankly insulting. The images were pixelated beyond belief & the poses hardly changed throughout all 35 levels!
The animations were out of sync and the models had serious clipping issues, it was lazy at best & hard to look at, so I didn't.

Now onto the positives:
- The maps are quite nice looking graphics wise, I enjoyed looking at the skybox on the space map.

I wish the developer the best in improving the game to a state in which it's playable, but currently it's not.

This game is a fantastic example of how re-masters should be handled.

The game feels similar enough to the original for that nostalgia hit, whilst also containing vast quantities of QoL improvements and new content.

The music and SFX are still fantastic, gameplay is solid and the story is hilarious.

I will adjust this review as I finish more levels.
So far, this game is far better than it's counterparts.
The puzzles are simple yet engaging - my only criticism is that they often seem quite luck based. It can become frustrating after multiple fails.

A super solid MMO game with satisfying combat, gathering and exploration. Some of the scenery is honestly beautiful and so much fun to traverse.
I waited an hour and a half in queue the first day to get in, then played about 6 hours straight before going to bed. I can safely say there hasn't been a single time in my, currently 14h, playtime that I've been bored.

The story is interesting, I like how there's lore for everything including fast-travel as it grounds the world. The quests can sometimes be a little hard to complete but that's mostly due to the mass amount of players all hunting for three sheep in one area.
Crafting and levelling is straight forward - I appreciate the simplicity in rewards from levelling.
Lastly, the combat system is extremely fleshed out. It's so awesome to be able to train skills in every weapon type, switch your armour around and learn new combat types at any time. I usually play ranged so wanted to try something new - I trained musket and bow then just simply equipped heavier armour and a shield to become a tank. It's a lot of fun just messing around with your gear and I can think of endless possibilities for builds. On top of this, every weapon seems to have its place. I haven't used a weapon yet that feels underwhelming or worse than another, it's just about how you use them.

All in all, I can 100% recommend this game if you want to get your hands on an MMO but don't like paying monthly. I can already see myself sinking hundreds of hours into levelling only 14 hours in.

On a quick side-note; one issue currently is that there's a lot of high level players in the starting zones. This makes it hard to do early PvP quests solo, as you get demolished instantly and fail the quest. This will most likely clear up soon once the higher levelled players move on but I feel as though I have to say something about it here as it's currently the one negative experience I've had.

An awesome piece of software that's super easy to customise with plugins/user-created assets.
Hard to learn initially but once you've got the basics down it's phenomenal.

I suppose it could be considered good, I just wish there was more reward for going late-game.

Best DLC that Bungie has ever released in my opinion.
The music, story and gameplay are all extremely good. The raid mechanics are fun and exciting, the music is beautifully composed and I loved learning more about the Darkness, Stranger & Exos.

The story revolves around something I've been waiting for since D1 and I really enjoy the Forsaken style of hunting the various commanders.
I hear a lot of complaints about the lack of new weapons and content, but I haven't had that much issue. I enjoy the slightly more limited arsenal (as BS guns such as mountaintop are now gone) and the seasonal weapons mixed with the new raid weaponry are more than enough for me to be satisfied. On top of that, the last few seasons worth of weapons have been re-added to the loot pool, allowing for more customisation for armour mod builds.

All that being said, I do wish there was a larger seasonal activity, say the prison of elders now that Variks is back, or some kind of late-game activity that's more rewarding than just empire hunts for cloudstrike. I miss the Menagerie & the Leviathan because of it's varied content it provided and would love to see a new PvE activity that's matchmade.

Stunning graphics, excellent yet diverse mechanics, awesome music & character design placed atop a compelling story makes for one awesome game.
In Short,
There's not much more I can ask for from a game than this and I'd recommend it to anyone who wanted either a gateway into RPGs or just want a chill game that looks fantastic and plays really well.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom features three genres of action which are suitably challenging and interesting to play, which is also always keeping you on your toes. On top of this, there's a whole element of town building that's really fun to explore as a relaxing alternative to the action based open-world.
The story is by far one of the best I've played in a long while and it's super easy to get invested into. With compelling characters and a riveting plus deep plot, it's really held my attention well.
The most attractive feature of this game for me was the beautiful graphics and animation. The world feels awesome to explore as everything is so wonderfully depicted and feels alive.
Finally, the main combat (that you'll experience both first and most commonly throughout the game) feels super satisfying and reminiscent of old Zelda games. If that sounds like something you'd like then I can 100 percent recommend this game to you.
