Great core game with now functioning multiplayer, but there's a lot of DLC (not that it's bad quality). Also they took a long hiatus to randomly release an aquarium DLC lol

It's pretty and it's FREEEEEEEEEEEEE

There are a lot of technical issues with this version of Sonic Colors, the worst being lag and crashes, but if you encounter them rarely or just ignore said issues, it's quite fun!
The formula this time is a lot of 2D platforming with boost-to-win 3D segments (basically segments where you run forward and move left to right).
The story and atmosphere is simple but ridiculously fun in my opinion. A theme park full of varied sections was a PHENOMENAL idea for a setting, I enjoy it a lot! However, the writing and humour this time is so dang weak and annoying. It even leads to entirely pointless cutscenes that do not progress the story at all, but instead attempts (and fails) to make people laugh.

This is exactly what I wanted in a remake for this game! Even with controls that take a moment to get used to, the game has the same charm of original and is just as fun! Just remember it is only a remaster of a Gamecube game, and can be somewhat simple at times compared to modern games (or even other games in this same series).

- Definitely plays like a 2003 game (the original game's release year)
- Annoying animal sounds
- Weird time selecting certain items
- Getting the game to detect someone/something is in front of me can be rough
- I get bored pretty fast each play session.
- This was 40 USD.

Please just be cautious that this game is relatively empty at times, lacking some elements from modern farming sims.

A good amount of characters in a game with some very fun and unique mechanics, like constantly being in the air and the character swapping!

I'm pretty nervous about the state of Town of Salem. This sequel has plenty of changes that not everyone may enjoy, so a lot of people will still be playing the first game whilst the developers actively support the sequel. Over time as popularity wanes, what will the number of players be like? I have a feeling not every gamemode will have an easy time getting matches (which already happened to some gamemodes in the first game).

- Split player base between 1 and 2
- Lots of changes that you may or may not enjoy
- Extra opportunities to spend real life money
- How are there already dead gamemodes
- Free-to-play update was concerning and confusing

I can no longer complain about the lack of party features, as for it has been implemented c:
