POSTAL is all about fun..
If gore is not your style, then I suggest hitting the road, as there's not much else you do in this game rather than killing... and more killing...
But this is how it all started, so POSTAL is still an epic game.

Pros: + you can burn people
+ crouch button (F**k you too, RPG!!)

Cons: - only 8 weapons

Personal rating: 70/100 - Good

Early Access Review
It's good to be back on possibly the best action of 2001-2002.

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution is the work of modders, big fans of the original game, that spent time merging the 2 classics into one game, plus something more: - new, third campaign (still not accesible, the game is in Early Access)
- intereting main menu themes
- better multiplayer connection (both LAN and Internet)
- PC, PS and Xbox HUD themes are all accesible through settings

That was it for the changes (mostly).
Now for those who want to get this game, but don't know what it has got to offer.

Serious Sam is an old-school 2001 shooter. It is fast-paced, you won't have much time to think, but mostly to shoot at everything and everyone. Probably doesn't sound as anyone's cup of tea so far. I agree. What makes this game special for me, is the environment. Every level has a unique design, and believe me, for 2001, the game looks amazing. You will fight through antic Egypt temples, dunes, dark sewers, pyramids etc.
Yup, the game action takes place in ancient Egypt. Why? Play the game and see, I don't want to spoil anything from storyline.

The game has also got its fair share of hilarious moments. Remember Duke's viral quotes from 1997? I can't say Sam's ones are the same, but they definitely remain in fans' hearts.

The second Serious Sam game, The Second Encounter, has got the same gameplay of the 2001 classic. It adds a few new weapons (oh, and SUCH weapons!!), but I love it because... you guessed, the environment. This one and Serious Sam 2 are probably the most exotic games in the series. TSE will guide you through Mayan ruins, jungles, volcanos, many more and all locations are filled with memorable puzzles. They are not hard to accomplish, so they won't spoil the lore-fun in any way. However, the game has MANY secrets, and most will require a dose of quicksaves and loads in order to get..

Pros: - memorable action!!
- tons of weapons. I haven't insisted on describing them on the review. Instead, just try collecting them all and you will see what I mean;
- tons of levels, massive single campaign with unique locations and enemies;
- 100% Old-school FPS;
- Sam.

Cons: - not being able to change difficulty in-game; the balancing seems to get heavy every now and then, making the game a lot harder even on decent difficulties;
- finger muscle soreness due to non-stop clicking...

Personal rating: 92/100 - Amazing

This game is a combination of tower-defense action strategy with a somewhat unique tower-offense technique used most of the time. It will not give you many ways to accomplish missions, most of the times the scripted events are so obvious that you will know for sure when an ''anomaly'' hits the short route you decided to take, giving you only the choice to switch to the longer, more risky route.
Despite of these scripted events and a bit of failed voice acting from every character, this is a very good game. It's refreshing an old, almost lost genre.

Pros:
+ Tower defense at its best, plus somethig more
+ Suspanse at every corner, especially on higher difficulties
+ The AI is surprisingly good for an almost indie game
+ Nice and simple leaderboards display, depending on the difficulty you play

Cons:
- Short campaign; tiny fast-paced levels
- Scripted events will become obvious before they even happen, after 1h of gameplay
- The buy/sell/upgrade function is simple. Could've been added something more.

Personal rating: 74/100 - Good
