Serena was a dark and creepy expierience for me.
No, it's not a bad game, but it hits you HARD at feels. I'm sure I won't forget what I've seen very easily. Even though I wish I would.
Just... just try it out if you want a strong story. But be warned, it's not going to leave you with pretty memories.
Good example of what a 1-hour long game can do to you.

Pros: +immersive at its best - maybe too immersive;
+ amazing storyline and plot twist;
+ did I mention the plot twist?

Neutral: +/- depends if you like this in a game, it is probable that you will not forget this game very soon. You may relate to its story in your life and you will remember this game;

Cons: - no replayability; most people uninstall right after finishing;

Personal rating: 85/100 - Great

This is the best stealth experience in a video game so far.
You have to hide in real life. From your family, friends and your dog.
There is no death in this game, but if you get caught there comes the shame.

Famaze is a fun little old-school game.
You explore dungeons from back scenery view, while fighting monsters and picking up loot.
If you explore the labyrinth long enough, you will find several beacons that will light a certain area, preventing monsters from spawning there.
The player also has a minimap that updates itself while he explores. You will often need to find keys to unlock doors to other areas. Keys are usually scattered in places hard to reach, guarded by enemies or traps.
There are 3 classes you can choose from when starting the game: Wizard, Thief or Knight. The Wizard specialises in spell-casting and thus is a good choice for ranged combat. The Thief has a chance of disabling traps so you can easily reach a place without having to take the long way. The Knight has the most HP and deals most damage.
The combat is turn-based. If you're playing as the warrior, don't expect to not be hit at your turn. Also, everytime you move a space, so do the enemies, making your plan route different.

Pros: +old-school dungeon crawler;
+exploration of the map;
+the classes and leveling up system;
+usage of items;

Cons:+could've been more complex, in terms of gameplay;
+it gets repetitive after a short while;

After 600 hours put into this masterpiece (and after I hopefully started to understand most of the lore behind the Elder Scrolls universe), I think I am ready to write a review for Skyrim.
Personally, the best feeling I had while playing this game was getting back to my home, after 3 days of fighting dragons, exploring dungeons and talking with NPCs. My kids were eager to see what I got them, so I gave them a lot of toys I have found in the huge landscape. They also had surprises waiting for me, plenty alchemical ingredients, and even coins.
There are many races to choose from, my favorite one being the Khajit, a cat-human appearance specialised in Sneaking and Thieving. Players who don't like this playing style, but generally want to play as a Khajit (or any other race) will be happy to see that Skyrim lets them make the character THEY want. If you want, for example, a Mage Argonian, it will be, of course, harder work than for a High Elf, but as much rewarding, because you will notice how your character truly evolves during the adventure. You have tons of options, tons of playing styles (which you can mix or even change at any point in the game if you feel like it).
But enough with characters. Other aspect which really felt unique and incredible was the size of the land. Not only Skyrim itself is huge, considerably one of the biggest maps seen in a video game, but it's also fullfilled with things to do. I never went from one hold to another without finding plenty of puzzles, chests, dungeons into my way. And, if you're like me, you don't want to rush through the main story and prefer instead to explore more or do miscellaneous quests, you'll be glad to take the side roads whenever you see them. They will take you to caves, mines, villages, farms, dungeons, and even dragon lairs. The exploration never had an end for me, not even after so many hours spent into the game.
You are probably curious about the combat system. While technically not one of the best I have seen in a RPG, I must admit that it had massively been improved since Morrowind and Oblivion. The ''Luck'' factor is not present any more, so you can't miss a shot when you clearly were very close to the enemy. The third person combat camera is now immersive, with tons of new animations and a new feature which I like a lot: the killcam.
One final aspect I'd like to talk about is the length of the game. While the main storyline is relatively short (took me around 10 hours on hardest difficulty), the side quests and guild quests make this game incredibly long. If you get Skyrim and plan on beating every single quest, clearing every dungeon, finding every landmark, you'd better get prepared for a very, VERY long journey. I myself haven't completed a quarter of the entire game yet (checked progress with a mod).
This game is by far my favorite RPG at the time being, its biggest rival in my opinion being Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Pros: + incredibly large landscape, mixing bioms from tundra to winter, from pine forest to stone holds;
+ a lot of locations, free for player to explore; hundreds of dungeons, caves, which at their turn are themselves long and filled with enemies, puzzles, traps which will reward handsomely the player at the end;
+ plenty of quests, most of which don't require the player to have completed the main questline;
+ the introduction of dragons as enemies, for the first time in the Elder Scrolls games;
+ residents of cities and villages all have their own lives and families. In the morning, they will leave their home and go to their job, in the afternoon they will take a break for eating, and in the evening they will close their shop and go back to their home or at the inn for some mead, where after a few hours will go to sleep;
+ random encounters will let the player find more about the game; fugitives will tell you to keep their stolen item for a short while, followed by a scene where the owner finds you and asks you whether you have seen the thief (at this point, you can lie, you can tell him where the thief went, or you can be most honest and give him his item); couriers will once in a while give the corespondence to you, which can lead to impressive new quests or will update your map with new locations; you can find farmers giving their cows as sacrifice for the giants, and many, many more other events, all unpredicatble;
+ the leveling system has been improved since Oblivion: after you have a high level, you will no longer see ALL enemies wearing the Daedric armor, instead you will continue to find packs of bandits, some of them having leather armor and others having more powerful armor and items;
+ player can buy home in 5 holds, where he can place his loot, take his wife and kids and take a rest; this, personally, felt like a huge immersive feature in the game world;
+ new powers added to the game world, called Shouts; will let you find out more about it x);
+ you feel that your character truly evolves as you progress; more over, you can make what you want of your character: a good warrior, archer, thief, mage etc., by using perks;

Cons: - interface is worse than at previous games; you can't sort items by criterias (feature that had been available in Oblivion), you can't search for a specific item when you have plenty of loot in your backpack, and the aspect is generally bad; thus i recommend using a mod that changes inventory;
- while reasonable, the game is filled with bugs, some of which can even break a quest; again, i recommend using the Unofficial Patches;
- some textures and meshes haven't been vigurously worked by developers and they look bad for 2011;

Personal rating: 95/100 - Masterpiece

This game made me question the face of mankind. It's going to be hard to find such realistic game as Metro 2033.
Turned off lights, set the difficulty on Ranger Hardcore, turned volume up.... ---> possibly one of the hardest video games I have ever played, but definitely one of the best.
The realism level on this game is jaw-dropping. People act naturally, atmosphere is amazing, you start to care about the protagonist and the events that happen.
It may look like the first part of the game is already challenging and the main character gets into every possible kind of trouble. You will get stuck in dark tunnels where mutants are roaming, you will run out of oxygen on the surface, assisst to the ugly shade of war between russian powers, at a time when they should help each other survive and many more.. But after the first half of the game you will realize all those things were just a preparation for what's coming.
I recommend you to play with Russian voice acting (and English subtitles), this is how the game was intended and it adds a new level of immersion. Also, if you have the guts, try playing on the hardest (and by far the most realistic) difficulty, like I did. It will turn out as a very rewarding experience.

Pros: +The most realistic FPS I have ever played, speaking of the accuracy with which the mankind was represented in a video game;
+ The attachment with the main protagonist;
+ The Ranger Hardcore difficulty;
+ Excellent atmosphere and voice acting;
+ Incredible graphics;
+ Replayability, for the other ending;

Cons: - Some bugs can be game-breaking and require restart of the level;
- Only a few Metro stations, in which you take a break from the harsh tunnels and surface;
- The AI is sometimes pathetic;

Overall, this game is a MUST for those who enjoy a FPS with a different approach than most others; a FPS where you are not a heavily-equipped soldier, but a normal living man in the stations whose destiny is about to be accomplished.

Having some unusual, but clean graphics, presenting strange physics, but very accurate, Antichamber runs its own league.
It's a puzzle game that plays with your mind. When you thought you reach the end, it's just the game trolling you. You will often come back to some visited places and notice that the Matter Gun opens a completely new and unexplored path. Then you will reach a dead end and you will try new approaching techniques.
In short, this is literally mind-♥♥♥♥. But a brilliant one. You will feel really satisfied after you get past a challenge. The solutions require careful thinking and sometimes the most unexpected idea turns out to be the correct one. I have played the game more before getting it on Steam, yet I never reached the end myself.

Pros: +takes the ''unique idea'' to a whole new level;
+ challenging and rewarding puzzles;
+ the way you see the path (and this is actually a real hint) matters a lot;
+ makes you feel comfortable in its world, as you cannot die or take damage;

Cons:-after you discover most of it, there is not much that wants you to get back and replay it;
-can become frustrating at times, as some puzzles have very unexpected solutions;

Gone Home is not your usual ''run-and-gun'' or ''explore, level up, evolve'' game. Many people won't give it a chance, because the gameplay is just too poor.
However, I couldn't help myself but finish this game, solely because of the amazing storyline. I felt from the beginning that the story was going to be a good one, and I was right. Now, obviously, not everyone will share my opinion. I see that most voted reviews describe it as a bad game, almost everyone saying the story wasn't thrilling either.
As such, I recommend you should buy this game on sale and only if you like being told a story, while you're not doing much, otherwise you might regret your purchase.
I don't have much else to say about the game, as it may turn up as potential spoilers. I'll let you figure out, if you are interested.

Pros: +the storyline was very interesting and kept me wanting to find out more; it's one of those ''collect all pieces of the journal and then read them in the correct order to understand the story'';
+atmosphere was perfect, in my opinion; you hear the storm outside the house and the noises you're making while interacting with objects are accurate (oh dear, pickup the cassettes and put them in the radio whenever you have the chance);
+ the secret passages;

Cons: -the gameplay is lacking features; you can only walk around and pickup/activate notes and objects;

[NOTE]: I have downloaded this game from its official website and played most of my time (around 70+ hours) on it, before downloading on Steam, mind the low playtime.

Okay so I get this game when it was in Open Beta, back one year ago.
It was all fun to play and so on (I haven't played Diablo III at that time, otherwise I would have uninstalled this game and made my life 10 times better).. but it was forcing you to play non-stop. Haven't played for... 2 DAYS?? That's it, you got raided of money, crystals and almost all your crowns! That is, frankly, just horrible, Ubisoft. What were you thinking? I had the urge of uninstalling because of this downside really often. I opened the game to buy some new upgrades for my castle, but.. guess what? 50 players defeated my defense and ''stole'' all my items (and, please, don't come saying my castle defense rating was too bad and it's my fault; if you've played 5 hours you probably know that ALL, literally ALL people are using the same techinques to avoid traps and kill all minions faster; it's basically no matter what you do, your castle will get raided of everything and the only way to keep up in the leaderboards is to play non-stop, which won't happen, at least for me).
Alright so new games got out and I uninstalled, with a bright smile, this game, promising I will never touch it again and cry at how empty my chests would be if I haven't played for more than a week.
Now it gets ''fully released'' (which is not surpringly, really, Ubisoft is well-known for selling half-finished games) and reappears on my Steam Market page.
Nostalgia hits me in the hardest moments and I couldn't help but reinstall it, REALLY HOPING (praying while it was downloading) that Ubisoft did something about that horrible downside.
And guess what?
Exactly. They didn't do ♥♥♥♥.
Surprisingly I still had a few gold and crowns when I started the game, but that most probably was because my castle was inactive for too long and it just wouldn't show up on other's PC. The gameplay was almost the same, they just made the HUD 3x times uglier. That was 2 weeks ago.
Today I open it up (repeat, 2 weeks after last launch) just because of boredom, and guess what? EVERYTHING was raided from my castle.... That is just NOT what I call a good, fun game, a game which you enjoy playing.
Let me get one thing straight before I summarize this review: I LIKE the fact that people are also playing on my castle. After all it's ok to lose from time to time, so it wasn't the number of looters that dissapointed me. As stated, it's just publisher's fault for making a horrible balance. It's fine for me to see them getting to my treasure room (using the same techniques from one year ago, doesn't seem that Ubisoft give a damn about rebalancing those either), but losing everything you worked HOURS on? No, that is the ULTIMATE BUG, gamebreaking, unimmersive and leaving you in hatred for knowing that you could've spent those hours in other activities, which would let your effort be seen afterwards).

TL'DR
*sigh* It's rarely that I get to be so dissapointed by a video game. I have played not-so-great games (with a rating under 50 from Metacritic) and all user reviews not recommending it, and I can say that NONE, EVER, was so bad as this game. And it's just sad, The Mighty Quest had a FINE gameplay, but really, Ubisoft ALWAYS has to ruin their games in some way... If it's not horrible optimized, then let's just add a game-breaking mechanism.
I am not glad to say this, but this game has definitely shown me just how bad a game can make me feel. Uninstalled, unsubscribed and hope not to hear from it again (at this point it just brings too bad memories to take it only as a simple game; it's dozens of hours ruined, in fact, fake giving me the impression I would finally achieve something..)

For this review I am not going to add a [+] and [-] rubric, nor a personal rating. I just want to finish with it already and forget about it. If you have tried it, I bet you can relate, if not, I beg of you not to play this game, unless you like gathering a lot of gold and then see it all gone in a matter of time.

Still one of the best arcade racing games at the moment in my point of view.
You get to play with various cars, from Porsche 911 to Koenigsegg Agera. You can also choose whether you want to play as a racer or a cop. There are plenty of races, divided in many types: Time Trials, Interceptors, Hot Pursuits etc.
And my favorite feature is the screenshot option, which gives you many filters and effects to take pretty photos ^*^

Pros: +beautiful graphics;
+ the ability to play as a racer or a cop and switching at any time;
+ immersive soundtracks;
+ dynamic weather types and cycle of day in free roaming;
+ hot pursuits are intense, both you and the opposing forces using equipment to jam vehicles, call a roadblock, activate turbo and so on..

Cons: -free roaming mode lacks initiative; it's good only for testing cars, as exploring gets ridiculously boring in a short while;
-no customization;
-Autolog, their online playing service, is pretty much dead; it's hard to find any match if you don't talk with a friend; I'd rather they switch to AllDrive service from Rivals, by all means better.

Personal rating: 87/100 - Great
