WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.02 is a kinetic visual novel which is a continuation of episode.01. It is written by the same author who wrote Spice and Wolf. Unlike the first episode, the story does not mention too much about economics, thus a basic understanding of economic concepts is not required to fully enjoy the novel.

Story: The story for this episode is okay. It talks about the events that happen four years after Haru, the main character, had suffered from the events from the previous episode. Not too much happens, mainly character development. The plot is mostly about how Haru struggles to conquer his past, and how he tries his hardest to help others so that he does not make the same mistakes as he had done in the past. I really missed the heavy amount of economics which is in the first episode, although this episode did talk about market bubbles and accounting scandals. I would rate the story 7/10.

Characters: Other than Haru, a few of the characters from the previous episode, Cerrow, Risa and Chris, returned to in this episode. I really like how the characters changed and matured after four years. Haru is a lot more mature and considerate, Chris is less shy, Cerrow has a job as an actual programmer now. A new main character, Eleanor, was introduced. Eleanor's character design was okay. I feel the princess/rich girl side of her was too cliche though. A few minor characters, Le Geoff, Marco and Rena, where introduced, but they did not really add to the plot. Rena helped Haru with his inner turmoil and helped him with some task after, but the other characters did not really do anything. Overall, I would rate the characters 8/10

Music: The music is okay. About the same quality as the previous episode. Some tracks were reused from the previous episode. I would rate it 7.5/10.

Artwork: The artwork is pretty nice. I still feel there are a bit too many reused scenes, and too many times when the background was blank/just all black. It is an improvement from the previous episode though. I would rate it 7/10.

Overall: I would rate it 7/10. Maybe it is because this is the second episode out of three episodes, but I feel nothing too significant happened, other than the introduction of the new character, Eleanor. The plot is still well done, tying up some loose ends from the previous episode. There are a lot more typos, and grammatical errors in this episode. I really hate how some of the names changed from the previous episode. I hope the developers fix the names and the typos/grammatical errors in the future.

NEKOPARA Vol. 1 is a VN where there are no choices to make. It uses the E-mote 2D animation engine, which allows characters to show a variety of emotions, and adds some physics effects to the characters. Parts of the game are missing from the Steam version, and can be obtained elsewhere.

Story: This story is about the protagonist, Kashou Minaduki, moving away from home to open a bakery. Two of his family's Catgirls, Chocola and Vanilla, decide to follow him there and help him with his work. Kashou, with the help of his sister and the other four catgirls of his family, learns how to take care of Chocola and Vanilla, while managing his bakery. The story is a "slice of life" story and is too clichéd since many elements can be found in VNs, Anime and Manga. The universe/setting of this story seems a bit dark; I still wonder how catgirls came into existence, why some are criminals and some are abandoned on the streets without a owner. There are a lot more questions I have about the universe/setting. Overall, I would rate the story 6/10.

Characters: The personalities of the characters are very clichéd. There is some character development for the main characters. It is really awkward how you only encounter one male character, the protagonist, in the story if I am not mistaken. All other characters, including the police officer, customers, etc., you encounter are all female. Overall, I would rate the characters 6/10.

Music: The music is great. Nice catchy songs, and even has an opening and ending song. Don't have anything to complain about for the voice acting and sound effects, except that there are only Japanese voices. I would rate the music 9/10.

Artwork: The artwork is amazing. Really good animations and physics effects for a VN. Some scenes are reused too much. Overall, I would rate the artwork 9/10.

Overall: I would rate this game 7.5/10. I do like happy endings, the artwork, the physics effects and animations. The story and characters are lacking, and I would not recommend buying this game just for the story; although I do not know why anyone would buy it for that.

WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.01 is a VN where there are no choices for the reader to make. It is pretty long considering how it is just a third of the full story. It is written by the same author who wrote Spice and Wolf. I would recommend having a basic knowledge of stocks and margin trading to fully enjoy the story, since most of the exciting parts are about stock trading.

Story: The story is well written. It is about a boy who runs away from home and makes a living by trading stocks. At times, I feel the story really dragged on, and could be condensed. I really liked the twist at the end. I have studied a lot of economics, finance, statistics, mathematics and computer science, so I thought the story was pretty amazing since it incorporated a lot of material I had learned into a plot. But without basic knowledge of stocks or an interest in economics, you probably will not undestand or be interested in the most exciting parts of the plot and the plot is pretty dull without those components. Overall I would rate the plot 8.5/10.

Characters: The characters differed from the stereotypical characters in most Anime/VN and were well developed. Nothing too special about them though. I would rate the characters 7/10

Music: The music was okay. Better than a lot of other games. A few catchy tunes. I would rate it 7.5/10.

Artwork: The artwork was nice. But there were still a lot of scenes that had black/blank backgrounds and lots of scenes where I feel the background should be updated to different one. Overall, I would rate the artwork 6.5/10 since there were too many scenes with black backgrounds (no artwork) and too many reused backgrounds.

Overall: I would rate it 8/10. The story was great. There are several typos, and too many black backgrounds and reused to backgrounds which took away from my enjoyment.

Pros:
-Has multiplayer mode where can you play your friends or strangers
-Great artwork and music
-Characters are mostly balanced
-Lots of achievements and characters you can play

Cons:
-Too much luck involved in this game, theoretically you can spend the whole game getting knocked out and reviving yourself
-Not enough strategy, sure, each character has their own play style, but even if you choose the best cards, and the most rational move in each turn, it does not give you have big advantage over choosing random cards and making bad moves
-Needs more comeback mechanics, its really hard for a player who is behind by 3 stars to catch up
-Takes a long time to get good cards from the Shop

Pros:
-Excellent graphics, music and atmosphere
-Great physics engine, you can see the projectile of each bullet fired by the enemy
-Contains an improved version of several game mechanics (e.g. bullet time) from Max Payne 2
-Decent story and gameplay which continues from Max Payne 2
-Has boss fights which kind of involves solving a puzzle
-Lots of achievements, weapons, Easter eggs and collectibles

Cons:
-Too many pointless cut scenes like just a cut scene for opening a door
-Single player mode is very linear
-No more comic-panel style story telling which was found in Max Payne 1 and 2
-Being able to duck/find cover does not match the game mechanics in Max Payne 1 and 2
-Annoying leveling system in Multiplayer
-You have to make an account on Rockstar Social Club to play
