Omno is a wholesome, cute, and truly relaxing puzzle game. Not a hard one at all, but a satisfying one nevertheless. Pretty short in length, and shouldn't take anyone more than 4-5 hours from start to finish. The puzzles are pretty simple, but not boring to do. Very well-made and worth a few hours of your time for sure if you are looking for something just to chill and enjoy your time. And I have to mention the soundtrack, which is amazing!

This is a brilliant game! The story revolves around an institution that takes care of supernatural anomalies, very much like the SCP Foundation if you will. The story as a whole is great, very engaging, and with multiple side plots. If you focus only on what's presented to you directly through cinematics and discussions, you'll still have a great understanding of it and will enjoy it very much. However, there are also lots and lots of collectibles, to listen to, watch, and especially read through, and all of these expand the story and the universe a lot more and give context to many of the things you'll find.
It is a part of the Alan Wake universe and it really feels like it. There are quite a few references to the events that take place in the game and even some little stories that expand on Alan Wake's story. Any fan of Wake's games will be really pleased with finding these bits.

Graphicly, it is what you'd expect from a fairly recent game. It looks great and the lightning is very well made in my opinion, although some opinions may differ here. There is one issue with texture loading for close objects sometimes, they load a little bit slow, and for a brief moment, they are low rez. It really isn't a big issue, however, some people may be taken out by this, and if that's the case, the issue can be solved pretty easily with a dev. approved mod. Make sure to check on the game's guides for this and also a way to easily get the content that was console exclusive. It's just a really simple change to the hex code.

Gameplay-wise, this game is magnificent. Has some really nice mechanics that feel amazing to use, levitation is fun and very well made, and all the other powers the protagonist unlocks are easy to use and actually very useful compared to some other games where you'll use one thing once and then never again.
The weapons feel good and impactful, although I couldn't give much expertise on this since I was too big of a fan of the basic pistol and I almost entirely used that, it's just a matter of preference really.
The navigation through the levels may seem really confusing at first, and sometimes it really is, but as soon as you figure it out, it becomes way easier. The main thing to keep in mind is to make use of signs. You'll see signs that point toward specific places scattered everywhere, and these make it way easier for you to figure out what's where and how to get to it.

And for any completionists out there, the game is fairly easy to 100%, it just depends on how much you enjoy doing it. Most achievements are pretty straightforward, and for the few that are more ambiguous, the guides are decent at explaining them. The achievements for The Foundation DLC are a bit more tedious, but nothing too bad. There are no difficulty achievements since there are no multiple difficulty options.

For a 30-minute-long Visual Novel, this game gives some strong punches right in the feels.
On the surface, the game is about going to the store to buy some milk, underneath it's a short story about mental health and the protagonist's degrading mental state.

Gone Home is a sort of exploration, interactive novel the kind of Tacoma or The Suicide of Rachel Foster. However, this one has a sweeter story. You arrive home from your holiday around the world, however, the house is empty and there's a storm raging outside. From here on you explore the house filled with '90s references, read letters, documents, and notes, piecing together the history of the family, where and what kinds of people your parents are, and most importantly, why your sister isn't at home. You find most of this out from little voiced journal entries from your sister, that piece together nicely in the end.

The game has a creepy and spooky vibe to it, with dark corridors, squeaky floors and the thunderstorm raging outside, however, don't let it deter you from the game, as there isn't anything actually scary in it, just ambiental sound to set the mood. The sound design especially is pretty well done, and the music is fantastic.

Depending on your pace, the game can probably be completed in under 2.5 hours, add to that another 1.5 if you would like to replay it with the creators' commentary, which, if you enjoy the game, I highly recommend. It was quite nice listening to all the insides and little details. And if you are really in a hurry, you could actually speedrun the game, with everything collected in under 10 minutes, or even in just 1 minute if you want to go straight for the finish line, you even get two nice achievements for it.

It's a pretty great shot story. The premise is simple yet interesting enough, something happened on a space station, and you are sent there to recover the information aboard and retrieve the station's AI hard drive. While you do that, you explore every inch of the station, take a look at how the lives of the crew were onboard through AR recordings, and discover what happened and how it all went down.

Almost all small objects in the game are inspectable and are pretty nicely detailed making it a pleasure to just take random objects in your hand and look at them seeing how the devs imagined common objects would look like in 70 years, aboard a space station.

Although all the game is about is exploring the station, it's still pretty engaging and immersive in the story, it is aesthetically pleasing and short enough to not get boring. I'd say it could've even used at least one more hour of gameplay. At a normal pace, you should be done with the game in no more than 4 hours, including any missed achievements.

I'd say the game is certainly worth playing, especially if you get it on a sale or as part of a bundle. Overall it's a really chill and relaxing game, that manages to not be boring and get you engaged in it quite a bit.

This game is absolutely amazing. And for a more complex visual novel, it's perfect. It sends you right back in time, it gives an excellent nostalgia punch straight to the face. It's filled with little easter eggs and references to 2008 media. The interactions are sometimes cringe-worthy, but that's also because it's supposed to be 2008, so obviously it will feel that way, and if you've ever played any Japanese VN, this will be no problem, because it's nowhere as bad. The immersion is there and it does a fantastic job of keeping it, for a brief moment you'll feel like being back to a simpler time, 15 years ago. And on top of all of this, you get your heart broken as well, so what could be better? This game is totally worth 5-6 hours of your time even if just for the trip back in time.

TLDR: Great gameplay, satisfying combat, really nice visuals, a few bugs but nothing too bad, except for broken falling damage that killed me two times when it shouldn't have, with an unfortunately pretty mediocre story and a sh***y conclusion to it.

The gameplay is really fun, destroying stuff feels satisfying and the combat is pretty spot on, with a good diversity of finishers and fighting moves. Throwing punches and using weapons feels good, and the finishers are great.

The driving is not the best for a game where you spend much of your time driving, but you get used to it eventually. The car's weapons are mostly fun to use, the hook is especially great fun.

It looks pretty good considering the game's age, while the textures look pretty outdated, the lighting compensated for it a lot, sunrise and sunsets are gorgeous looking, and nighttime is beautiful.

The story is nothing special, there isn't a good goal to it from the beginning, Max is often times a pos for no reason and makes stupid decisions for the sake of it, which will just annoy the player most times. The story only builds up and receives a meaning in the last 20% of the main quests, and even then Max's choices are questionable, to say the least.

Small rant about the ending with no major spoilers, but it might change your expectations for the game:
Personally, the ending gave me no satisfaction whatsoever and it just felt awful with no good conclusion and with everything I did up to that moment being pointless. After everything is said and done, the game just goes back to the way characters were right before the finale as if nothing happened for you to keep playing what's left, so I'll just choose that to be the real ending just so I feel some sort of accomplishment for it.

So if you want to play a fun game, with great combat and fun car gameplay, when the car doesn't do a 180 spin at any small occlusion, with pretty nice customization of your car and character, then this is a good game for you, especially on a sale. But if you are looking for a great story with a fulfilling ending, then you might just want to skip this game and go look for that in the movie instead.

For someone that's never been interested in the Harry Potter world and has never consumed any media about Hogwarts, this game has been an absolute pleasure to play.

Graphicly, it's just about what you'd expect from a AAA game in 2023. Even if you're not playing on the absolute highest settings on some next-gen system, the game still looks gorgeous for the most part. On top of that, the game takes place over the course of a whole year, which will take you through different seasons that change the look and feel of the world and it's really just a pleasure exploring the same places, but from a different perspective.

Storywise, the main plot is pretty simple, stop the bad guy from becoming the most powerful wizard. That being said, it's still pretty satisfying and it takes you on quite a journey to achieve your goal. Besides the main plot, there are a few side plots that do a great job of keeping you engaged in them. In my opinion, these side quests are the real highlights of the whole story.

Gameplay and exploration is where this game shines the most. The combat, contrary to how I expected it to be before the game came out, is really satisfying and engaging, with plenty of spell combos and multiple ways to approach it, whether you want to go head first or take it slow and stealthy, you can do so. Enemy variety is as it should be, it doesn't need any more or fewer enemy types.
Exploration feels rewarding and there is A LOT to explore, collect and interact with. Where there are puzzles, they are simple enough as to not get too confusing, but also not so easy as to become boring. There are a lot of different mini-games world events scattered all over the map, which is quite large. From doing Merlin Trials, which are themselves very diverse and have a good amount of diversity to not get too repetitive, to constellation spotting at night, broom flight challenges, rescuing beasts and caring for them, treasure hunting through all kinds of places or just freely flying around casting Revelo every 5 seconds, they are, in most cases, fun to do. Unfortunately, it does lack one very important and crucial activity, a fishing mini-game, but I guess nothing is perfect.

The Worldbuilding and NPCs are pretty complex, with plenty of small towns to explore, and charming side characters, each with their own little story and dialogue, and lots of houses for you to rob from facing no consequences whatsoever. Every shopkeeper has their own life story that are eager to tell you about.

Overall, while Hogwarts Legacy might not be the absolute best RPG out there, it is a really solid one. And for what little it lacks in some aspects, it makes up for tenfold in enjoyment and pure fun. There are very few issues with the game, and I can't really recall any major bugs.
If you are a fan of the Harry Potter universe, this game will certainly meet all of your expectations and will satisfy your Hogwarts student dream. And even if you aren't a fan of the universe, I'm pretty positive you'll find a lot of enjoyment and entertainment from this game. If you are just a big fan or RPGs and you don't know what to play anymore, this will be a very good pick.
And for any completionist, the achievements are simple, mostly straightforward, and will have no problem 100% it.

A simple way to describe this game is this: imagine you are playing an interactive version of "The history of the entire world, I guess", but it's actually impressively boring and frustrating instead of entertaining.

This is quite possibly the most boring, and senseless game I've ever played, and I've played plenty of boring and convoluted games. I can see what they tried to do with this game, with the artistic feel and philosophic theme, but instead of making a nicely structured, fun, and immersive experience, they have made the absolute best cure for insomnia.

It's an artsy-fartsy point-and-click game, that's trying to present you the beginnings and history of the Universe and humankind, in ways that lack any type of fun or sense of accomplishment. Most of the time you'll click random stuff hoping for something to happen or repeat the same action for 5 minutes until you make any progress. More often than not, what goes on in the cutscenes makes no logical sense, and from time to time you are presented with some puzzles if you can even call them that, that are either just repetitive tasks or could be completed by a 6-year-old.

I know you can't expect next-level entertainment or some intricate storytelling from a Point and click-type game, but even with such expectations, this game fails to deliver. I've played walking sims and visual novels that didn't manage to make me yawn as much as this game.

Update: Since at the time I wrote this review I wasn't 100% done with the game, I decided to go with it to completion, in hopes that it might get better. I was wrong, it got even more repetitive, still as painfully boring, and with even less sense. This is a god-awful game that looks pretty, and that's all it has. So, don't judge the book by its cover. If you take, or in the case of these devs, make a pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, no matter how much glitter you throw on it and how pretty the packaging, on the inside is still a stinking pile of ♥♥♥♥.
I very rarely leave negative reviews, if I dislike something I'll usually just ignore it and leave it behind. This game managed to frustrate and annoy me enough to do so.
