This is more of a Mixed review than a straight-up Positive one.
I'll start with the best part of this game: Nier Replicant's story is absolutely outstanding, rich and emotional, genuinely amazing, and worth exploring and discovering. The soundtrack is incredible as well, one of the best game OSTs ever in my opinion. As far as these two things go, although a remaster of its precursor, Replicant is on par and just as good as Automata.

The graphics are decent, but not great. It's to be expected from a remaster, definitely much improved from the original Nier, but it still takes a bit of getting used to. The characters look exceptional, however.
The gameplay and combat are pretty similar to Automata, but just not as good, and unfortunately, gets slightly boring pretty quickly.

The combat starts pretty flashy but there's not much diversity to it, just the same simple combos for the entirety of the game, you eventually get 3 separate weapon types, but will most likely use the same one the whole game as there's no real incentive to switch between them. You find over 30 different weapons, of which you'll never use 90% of because they are completely useless and almost always less strong than what you are already using. You'll get the best of each type of weapon pretty early on as well.

The gameplay itself is alright for the most part, but pretty mediocre. The main quests are good with one or two exceptions, the sidequests, however, are less than ideal, there are a few gems within them, but for the most part, they are nothing more than filler irrelevant to the story, boring fetch quests, or important resource-sinks.
Where the mediocrity of the gameplay "shines" is when you need to replay 2/3rds of the game for the 3rd, 4th, 5th time to get the different endings, which, if you want to know the real narrative of the game, you have to do, this will become very repetitive and boring, and you'll just want to rush through it. There's almost nothing radically different in each ending, but just a more complete ending each time, which is required to fully understand what the story and universe are all about. Ending E is a decent payoff to it, however.

There are quite a few technical flaws as well, for starters, the M+KB controls, in the 2D and isometric sections are, once again, terrible. It's fascinating how little effort has been put into it to make it decent. Thankfully, you get used to it eventually; There is also a total lack of mouse sensitivity, so you'll have to adjust it outside of the game; You also can't turn Motion Blur off; Dialogues aren't automatic, a choice I can't understand but there's nothing to do about it, you'll have to click every time to get to the next sentence, which is just a minor inconvenience, but it could've easily not been one at all.

The absolute worst thing about this game, however, is weapon upgrading and resource farming for them. You can just skip it completely if you don't care about achievement completion, but if you want that 100%, you'll hate every single bit of it. Get ready for 30 hours of pure pain and boredom. You will need a bunch of stupidly-rare materials, that will require a ridiculous amount of painstaking grind and running around. This amount of grind for a single-player game is purely idiotic, and it made for quite possibly, the worst, most annoying achievement I've ever gotten.
hussy!

I expected nothing more than a funny satire and couldn't have been more wrong.
The game is a full-fledged detective noir game, with really cool and charismatic characters, stunning black-and-white environments, with rare bits of color that pop up very nicely, reminiscing of Sin City. Great fully-voiced dialogues, superb soundtrack, and a detailed, around 8-10 hours long, very immersive story.
Achievement completion is a little tedious but nothing too bad if you're willing to do it.
All in all, this was a cluckin' awesome detective-noir game well above my expectations and I'd recommend it to any fan of the genre.

Stray is an extraordinary game in pretty much every aspect. First of all, the unique perspective, playing as a cat and pretty much doing cat things and being cute. Movement and interactions are smooth and intuitive, they feel good and just overall fun. The game's progression is natural, puzzles are fairly simple and intuitive, but not boring, and are not excessive to feel like a chore rather than a fun addition.

Visually, Stray is a masterpiece. This is probably my favorite part of this game, the environment is stunning, the cyberpunk-ish, utopian cities are beautifully crafted and highlighted everywhere with gorgeous neon lights that are an absolute delight to explore, and the soundtrack pairs perfectly with the game's landscape.

The narrative unfolds pretty organically as you explore the surroundings and meet all the different characters. You get bits and pieces of the story from every corner, without much actual dialogue being given to you, letting you theorize and discover more and more of it as you progress. The soundtrack also pairs perfectly with the game's landscape and narrative.

It is somewhat short, at a leisurely pace you might be done in 5-7 hours. Can be done in under 2 hours even, which is one of the achievements as well, Achievement hunting and completing the game will add some more to your playtime, and it is quite fun to do. The game is divided into 12 chapters, while you do have the option to jump into any chapter for completion reasons, you will have to start the chapter from the beginning. This is not a big issue, as you can get through any of the chapters pretty quickly, but it can be a small inconvenience.

Not traumatizing enough for a Rusty Lake game, but still very very good.

Road 96 is a pleasant surprise. "It's about the journey, not the destination" applies perfectly to this little gem.

You play as different, I think random, characters, and to get to the end of the game, you'll have to reach the border and manage to cross it 6 times. You can fail, you can die, you can get caught. In my playthrough, I only happened to not make it once, mostly out of stubbornness with my dialogue choices, so the game is not hard, at all. But it is fun. While your goal is getting to the border, the means by which you choose to get there are the real adventure. For each bit of road you cover, you'll have to pick a means of transport, and each one has its own little story and its own little adventure. You don't really play as the main character, as the main characters are those you meet on your journey and their stories. Some are fun, some are loveable and some are just outright annoying.

The soundtrack is decent, I wouldn't say it's anything special, but it certainly is not bad.
The visuals and artstyle are genuinely astonishing. I loved almost every bit of them, the only thing I think could've been improved a bit on would be the character designs, but that might be just a matter of preference. There were many moments when I just stopped and admired my surroundings, colors, and lights. Plenty of screenshot-able moments, with one big issue, you can't hide the UI, which makes for not-so-great screenshots.

Getting all achievements in one playthrough is also doable and pretty simple I'd say, just make sure to glimpse over them before you start the game so as not to miss the easy but also easily missable ones.

The game as a whole is pretty great. The story and characters are especially good. It shares the same universe with Control, where you also have a bunch of references to Alan Wake as well. If you enjoyed this story, I highly recommend trying Control too, and also vice-versa.
Most mechanics are alright, shooting is a bit weird until you get used to it, there's no usual crosshair, but your flashlight acts as a crosshair. The slow-motion sometimes hits even when it shouldn't, and is quite exaggerated, but it's no big deal.
What I disliked the most was the very off-centered camera which is atrocious, and, to my understanding, was a deliberate choice. I can't understand why, but it's awful. Walking or running straight will never be straight but slightly to the left or right. You get used to it eventually, and it helps once you understand how it works and that the character always walks toward the flashlight, but even so, it is unusual and just a bad game design decision in my opinion.

Cute little 2D game about forgiveness and acceptance. Maybe a bit pricy for its length, It shouldn't take you more than an hour and a bit to finish it, and about two hours to complete the achievements.
Unfortunately playing in real fullscreen is impossible, there is a fullscreen setting but all it does is force the game in fullscreen filling the rest of the screen with black where Steam's popups and overlay will leave a "shadow" image of them on it.
