Quite a simple point-and-click game. A really nice aesthetic and art style. The story is pretty lackluster, unfortunately. I'd say that there are 3 kinds of puzzles in the game, none of which are hard, but sometimes annoying, the first kind would be the gameplay/world puzzles, which are good, item combinations and how to use them are pretty intuitive. Getting stuck for a long time is pretty unlikely, but if you do get stuck, there are no hints whatsoever, so you'll have to figure it out all on your own. The mini-game puzzles however can often be frustrating. The 3rd kind is the type of puzzle where you have multiple buttons, each of them does something different and you have to find the right combination. In this game, these almost never seem to make any logical sense and seem completely random, almost every time I encountered one of these, they solved themselves after clicking the "buttons" at random until it worked.

For completionists, this is not a hard game to complete at all, but you can't do it all in one gameplay. There are two "Best friend" achievements, you can only earn one in a playthrough, to get the other one, you'll have to follow a guide and replay the first 4 chapters. Also, there are 4 different endings with one achievement for each, so you'll also have to replay the entirety of the last chapter another 3 times to get all of them. Everything is very easy, and you can even skip the minigame puzzles after completing the chapter once already, but replaying chapters is also very boring as there is nothing different.

If you enjoyed Innocence, I'm almost certain you'll enjoy Requiem as well. The first game was incredible, this one is even better in my opinion. The visuals, graphics, and effects are gorgeous. The characters look extremely good, and the acting is great. All of the facial expressions are captured perfectly, there are no awkward moments or weird expressions.
The story is masterfully crafted and told. Heartfelt, intense, and extremely emotional. It is both heartwarming and heartbreaking from chapter to chapter.
The gameplay is great, the combat is satisfying and more complex than in the last game, you can use a bunch of different ways to navigate through the seas of rats, you can be creative with how you want to kill your enemies, be it with fire, the sling or the crossbow, combined with any of the modifiers, or just avoid them all and sneak past them if you so wish to do. And although the game is pretty linear, it doesn't often feel that way, it doesn't feel restrictive, but open and explorable.
The game ran pretty smoothly for the most part but experienced some big frame drops in small sections of a few cutscenes the cause of which I couldn't figure out, It is quite demanding on the CPU, so perhaps that was my issue. Can't recall encountering any bugs whatsoever.
I've loved every moment of this game and can't recommend it enough because it deserves so much more love and recognition than it gets.

100% fapless speed run. 60 minutes. I am the gaming god.

I hope they add Japanese forests in the next update! Would make for some breathtaking content!

First of all, and most important If you're only checking out the reviews wondering if you should buy this, and haven't seen any trailers for the game, please keep it that way. The trailer is extremely poorly executed and gives a huge spoiler for the story, that will ruin a big, emotional moment in the game.

True Colors is a solid entry in the Life is Strange franchise. Absolutely gorgeous visuals and detailed environments, a real pleasure to look at, explore, and interact with the world. The music and soundtrack are, as expected from a LiS game, also excellent. The story is great, I liked it just as much as the first LiS, I wouldn't call it better, however, personally, I did like it more. It's emotional, with a bunch of great twists and turns, and making the connections between different events is quite fun. Most characters are well-flashed out, and for most of them, quite likable. There are also some awkward moments between characters with long pauses that shouldn't be there and a few weird facial animations that are a little uncanny sometimes.
Alex is a wonderful character, and I think she has become my favorite protagonist in the series Sorry Max!, and having Steph, a familiar face from Before the Storm, come back as one of the main characters was really cool.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the 3rd chapter, which is a bit slow and feels like filler, but it still can be fun for other people, other than that, I was very pleased with pretty much everything else story-wise.

I had no major technical issues, only a couple of things that were easily ignorable or fixable, one being a little stutter at random, but rarely, and nothing that had any real negative impact on the game, other than that, the game ran smoothly at constant 60fps, and the other issue was some slight image tearing that started happening after a cutscene and would be easily fixed by turning v-sync off and on again, might sound annoying to deal with, but it only happened twice.

Overall, I was very pleased with the game, I expected Life is Strange, and that's exactly what I got. If you're a fan of this franchise, you'll probably enjoy this entry as well, especially so if you loved the first LiS game. Totally worth playing, although a bit short for the 60€ price point, especially since the "Wavelengths" DLC is only offered with the Deluxe version, so just for this I'd probably recommend getting the game on a sale.

While I didn't dislike this game, and it has a few great parts, I can not recommend it.
The game looks stunning, the voice acting is great and most puzzles are pretty good. Even the story starts great, and for the first half of it, it goes very well, it's compelling and you want to discover more, unfortunately, it goes downhill in the second half, and it's quite unsatisfactory in the end.
The main reason for the negative rating however is the terrible optimization. The game is choppy all of the time, it feels laggy despite it running at a constant 60 FPS and it makes it very hard to truly enjoy anything. Changing the graphics settings did not help in the slightest. The GPU usage is also excessive, and lowering the settings once again, does not improve this much.
Lastly, you will be walking a lot, collecting bits of information and figuring out puzzles, most of the time actually, and unfortunately, the movement and interacting with the moving puzzles are very slow and sluggish. Using ladders is especially unpleasant.
If you've got the game for free or part of a bundle, maybe give it a try, see how your experience with it goes and you might enjoy it. But I would not recommend getting it at full price or even discounted.

Experience communism like never before.

An absolute blast, especially with friends.

Very charming, short tale about a circus puppet girl.
It is a pretty simple side scroller/platformer, with some pretty simple puzzles. It only has the four directional controls and an action button, which are all customizable if needed.
The art style and general look of the game are absolutely gorgeous, the story and the game itself are quite short, around 2 hours, 3 at most if you want all of the achievements, but they are some very well-spent few hours. The soundtrack is really nice as well and the narrator is doing an excellent job.
An excellent indie game that, in my opinion, deserves more recognition.

Scratch all that, it was just a skill issue, the game is amazing. A bit challenging and frustrating at times, but really good nevertheless.
