This was a gorgeous game with simple mechanics that make it one of the most relaxing games I've played.
The gameplay is quite basic, all you do is walk and fly around the mad and sometimes interact with stuff. A few simple puzzles that are pretty straightforward, but somehow, still feel rewarding. The soundtrack is beautiful and it matches the feel of the game perfectly. And for the story, you'll have to find out about it yourself, by reading and interacting with the world.
The main selling point of the game is probably the bird. Most of the time you'll fly around as a bird, and as monotone as that may sound, it's the best part of this game. Flying is easy and really enjoyable, just going from place to place and trying to go through little loops in the terrain is, simply put, fun. The controls are simple and it makes flight feel smooth and satisfying.
All in all, it is a semi-short game that feels great, relaxing, and fun. Perfect for a quick playthrough or just for flying around and letting it all go for a moment.

Nice, pretty short, light horror game. It's nothing special gameplay-wise, it's just a walking simulator, or crawler sim, cause you play as a toddler. It's worth a try if you already have it in your collection, but I wouldn't say it's worth a buy anymore unless for some huge sale.
Besides a sound bug that happened once, where a certain sound got stuck on a loop, which was solved quickly by reloading, and occasionally getting stuck in some small place, I wouldn't say there's anything bad to say about it.

And, something for the devs, if by some miracle they happen to read this: PLEASE, do NOT make the whole screen bright white after playing for most of the game in near complete darkness. You know most of the game in dark, and it's most likely played by people at night, in darkness, why do you need to give everyone a blinding white screen every 20-30 minutes? It's not a shooter game, no need to flashbang our eyes. Thank you!

The game is great, no complaints here. The story is good, the universe is fascinating and the enemies diverse. Pretty cool weapons and great powers.
The problems come on the technical side, something small and that can be overlooked is the lack of customization when it comes to how the weapons and powers are sorted, as you can not move their slot placements whatsoever.
The worse stuff is how the game constantly crashes, over and over and over again. You have to save extremely often, and if you just forget because you get caught up in the game, you'll remember the moment your game freezes and you lose half an hour of progress. A great tip would be to set up a button to quick save, and press it as often as you can.
Another awful thing is the 2k launcher that's forced onto you, which was recently added as a "QOL change". There's no more bs reason for it, as it doesn't help with anything, and it just makes everything more obnoxious.
If it wasn't for the awful launcher and the constant crashes, this game would've been an amazing experience and would've wholeheartedly recommended it, but in the state it is nowadays, I just can't do that.

I haven't played the prequel to this so I can't compare this to that, but Simulacra 2 on it's own, in my opinion, is a pretty nice and engaging detective game. It's got bits of scary stuff but it's mostly just your average simple detective game, everything happening on the phone of the victim that you receive and have to discover what happened to her and why.
The acting is nothing oscar-worthy, even quite cringy at times, although you could bring the argument that it may be intended that way.

An amazing immersive medieval RPG. Has a bunch of problems but if you get past those, you're gonna have a really great time. It's much different than what you might be used to from other RPGs. You're just a peasant left orphan and looking for revenge. You are gonna walk a lot, fight much less than you'd think you do, and you'll feel a lot more connected to the characters than in many other games.

Graphics are great, characters are well written and the world is as immersive as it gets. The RPG elements are well constructed, from the skills progression to the different builds and sets of equipment.
Storywise is very well written and makes you intrigued and immersed in it.
The combat system is a weird one, while it's different and goes for a much more realistic approach, it will give you a lot of headaches. Especially in the beginning, it's quite hard to master and while in 1v1s it's a really nice system and a very fun approach to combat, as soon as there is more than one enemy to fight at once, you'll get absolutely destroyed. This is probably my biggest pet peeve against the game, but after a while, you get used to it, start to learn and master it more and more, and it becomes fun to play around.
Another inconvenience would be the save system, while again made in a way to accentuate the realism of the game, it'll give you problems from time to time. To save whenever you want, you'll need a special in-game consumable. Personally, I would recommend just using a mod to get around this but that really depends on the way you want to play.

Regarding the game's technical side, the optimization is quite bad, even on a fairly good rig it will lag sometimes, and will have frame drops. Haven't experienced crashes often, however. I think it happened 2 or 3 times at most in 130 hours of playtime.
Bugs are there, not a truckload of them, but still enough to bother you from time to time. Mostly just minor ones. The worst one I've experienced was getting stuck in the map/inventory/skills screen, impossible to close or navigate and unable to save. So the only thing I could possibly do was force close the game and lose the progress since the last save. Luckily, it wasn't a bug that happened often, only once or twice.
And one minor thing that bothered me a lot was the fact that there is a Hound mastery skill, which will make you believe you'll eventually get a dog and will keep believing and hoping that until you'll finally search about it and discover that the dogs are exclusive to the "A Woman's lot" DLC

Overall, the game was a really great experience, I've enjoyed my time playing it and am looking forward to a second KCD.

This won't probably catch anyone's attention but I still want to express my feeling towards this game. So...
Wow! What a sublime experience. This game is amazing, it's a combination of Portal and Stanley Parable, but also a very unique and one-of-a-kind game and experience. It's trippy, it's fun and it's surprisingly deep and philosophical.
If you love to sleep and dream, this is just the game for you. If you like to be surprised and deceived, this will blow you out of the water.
It's a perfect balance of challenging puzzles and comedy with a bit of storytelling and brilliant narration.
Buy it, it's incredible and 100% worth it.

As the first Sherlock Holmes game I've played, I've enjoyed it a lot. The stories are really interesting, the world while not an open one, it's not completely linear and you have some freedom to go around. The big story that encapsulates it all is pretty nice put, as it's not the focus but it concludes in a great way. The many puzzles in the game are fairly made so as to not struggle too much but not be straightforward either. It's been a truly nice experience and I'll probably play some other ones from the franchise in the future.

Also, achievements are pretty easy to earn, all of them except for one are unmissable if you don't skip any puzzles, and the only missable one is still pretty simple to get in your first try, or if you fail, you can try again imediatly.

Such a brilliant game. A captivating and unique story told in a really nice manner. Heartfelt moments with well-made characters and heartbreaking bits to balance it all out. The gameplay is not something to brag about, it's a unique one for its time, but now, almost 10 years later, you have probably experienced it before. It's more or less an interactive movie, but a really good one.

A downside of the game is probably the camera angles that are quite annoying at times but it's nothing to ruin the game. KB+Mouse controls are not the best, they are fine if you don't own a controller, but if you do own one, it would be for the best to use it.

I loved the game a lot and recommend it wholeheartedly. And now it's time to go in at it again to try and get the 100%,
PS: Quantic, no matter how much you try to make me like Ryan and try to push that Jodie+Ryan romance, you can't make me like him. He's a piece of **** and there's nothing you can do about it. Seeing him die will bring me much enjoyment. Loved your game tho!
