One of the most enjoyable games I've played in years..

I played this game predominantly on the Steam Deck which befits this game so perfectly.

The pixel art style is fantastic but it's the gameplay loop that makes this game great. As you dive deeper and deeper you unlock more of the game and progress the storyline. The DLCs are well worth it too, two of them are even free with loads of content! The final bosses are fun and the music score is great.

The only drawback of the entire game was the Sea People, at first it's fine but the game became stale as you must complete several tasks and a few were very tedious to do. That said if you are wanting to just relax on your Steam Deck and complete some tasks to pass the time it is very calming.

Voted for as my Labor of Love Award game award for 2024.

Childhood.

The game is rife with hackers using stamina cheats, forcing you to DC and disabling your controller causing automatic defeats. I haven't bought a Fifa on the PC since 2014 for this very issue in the past, it looks like they still don't give a ♥♥♥♥ to fix it.

Absolutely love this game, been playing it for years and I will still for years to come.
