A very modern and bold take on the CRPG genre (Finally, a Pathfinder game! - We've had too much Dungeons & Dragons). While it is troubled by some odd design choices like sluggish world map travel and an encumberance mechanic that gets in the way if your character lacks strength, these issues can be solved through the customizable difficulty settings or with mods.

The open-world, semi-linear gameplay in a CRPG is something that Kingmaker boasts and it really shows you the scope of the game as you can sequence break freely, but make meaningful progress. However, one must take the effort to learn the ruleset / system of Kingmaker to truly get the most out of this game, a min/max dream to those who are interested but a definite turn off to those who prefer simple straightforwardness.

If Kingmaker is your first CRPG, expect a learning curve. Luckily, the game is very friendly in terms of calculations and dice rolls, telling you exactly where and how your numbers come from - a must for learning the system required to get the most out of it.

All in all, very long and satisfying game worth your time if you're looking for a rich single-player CRPG timesink.

Classic Quake goodness
This is not a hero shooter.
Ults play more like tacticals in CoD

That's all you need to know

Hopefully the Quake bug bites :)

Update 64 turns this game into the literal word-per-word definition of a gacha except way more unfair.

This game could easily overtake Overwatch if they wanted, but they'd thought to go the BF2 route instead.

Don't stand for HI-REZ.

Remember Tribes.

Well, they proved me wrong and did a complete 180.

So that raises the question, should you still play Paladins?

Yes.
Absolutely yes.

To compare this game to Overwatch is a sin. However, while this game may not have the visual standards as Overwatch (Though they're putting way more effort into it now), it does balance way better and as a result - ends up being much better to play.

No one will whine at you for a wrong pick because they're all viable - something that Overwatch seems to totally miss the mark with. Paladins will respect your time and skill for putting in hours to be good at the game because hero-switching is not exactly a thing here.

Paladins isn't Rock-Paper-Scissors, it's an FPS and a good one at that.

A hidden gem.

Wildstar is home to several of the best PvE encounters in the genre. If you're looking for a PvE fix, this game has it all. Insane solo instances, crazy hard-as-hell dungeons and Raids so intense, Dark Souls will look like a single rainbow sprinkle on icing.

No such thing as steamroll in this game cupcake. Git_good.

If you're after customization, this game has it too.
Wildstar boasts a flexible housing system that's easy to use, but complex enough to create the most intricate of structures. How complex? Well, someone made an AT-AT. On top of that, there's a secret underground complex too. And if home design isn't your jam, there's the costume system. Wildstar's costume system allows you to wear any piece of armor in game and color every single part.

Tired of those wimpy Spellslinger robes? Just get a set of heavy armor and turn it into your costume. Splash a bit of paint here and there and you'll looked jacked. Not to mention damn sexy.

Think Left 4 Dead, but with tons of replay value and customization. If you plan to solo this game, don't expect much.
However, If you've got friends, get ready or a world of fun.

Not your usual racing game.

In here, CRASHING is encouraged. There are mean looking cars, sleek Hot-rods and more.
It's fast, furious and down-right dirty.

9/10

A huge-scale mmofps, even by Battlefield standards. Although the game has an item mall, it's not necessary to buy credits as earning credits in-game quickly escalates from being a chore to being a breeze. It's a great game and being in a squad only makes it better.

A great CO-OP bullet hell MMO. Made even better with 85 player boss fights.

Yet no battle royale or hero shooter could ever come close.

People say this game is dead, but you can always enter a server and see trends that stem all the way back from 2010 or earlier. Someone can be spy-crabbing or spamming dongers while salting on how crits are "fair and balanced".

You can play soldier and rocket jump after a few minutes, but still stare in awe at how seasoned players masterfully glide in the air chaining jumps one after another.

There'll be a sniper so untouchable, spies wouldn't want to come close in fear of getting headshot.

You'll see a scout, blink and before you know it, you're dead. You'll end up playing scout too, in hopes of one day wiping an entire team soley off your aim and positioning.

Then one day you'll see a medic so damn good, you'll wonder if the uber had finally finished.

I could go on, but words simply cannot put how well this game has aged in terms of gameplay.

Do yourself a favor and plunge into this game if you haven't.
