This game, on release, was one of, if not the biggest, disappointment on steam. It today is an enjoyable sci-fi, exploration experience.

While the game has nice graphics, many planets lack color and variety, creating a somewhat bland, unvarying experience from one planet to the next in terms of looks (so long as you are comparing planets of the same type). You'll find many "unique" creatures on each planet. To be honest, they are by no means unique and look ncredibly similar. Why do some creatures live in polar opposite environments? However, there is enough variety that I've never truly felt annoyed with this. One of the major concerns that I have for people considering this game is the optimization and willingness to accept bugs, as te optimization is poor and there are still many bugs, some of which are game breaking.

With this being said, it's still amazing to play. It's such a unique experience to run into your ship, fly into space, warp out of your system, and then save a freighter from attack. It's incredible to build your own base with your friends and explore the vast world, while completing a campaign (surprisingly good, although it is a bit repetitive in certain aspects). There is definitely a seemingly endless grind for better equipment, making the game not for everyone, but the satisfaction of getting that S class freighter you always wanted makes it worth the effort. The game is a blast with friends, but can be a bit of a bore if you are playing it alone, as the game is not very enjoyable if you simply play through the campaign. There are definitely many other issues in the game that I won't cover, but I would personally recommend the game to any of my friends, as the overarching experience is still unique, fun, and something that is good to at least try out. Where else are you going to find 18 quintillion planets?

tldr: Don't expect the campaign to be the main part of the game, or for the game to be greatly optimized or patched. The overall experience is fun, especially with friends.

After around 50 or so hours I suppose I'll review the link. It works great for playing games on your coach and is excellent for playing strategy and coop games on your TV. There is no noticeable input lag. The occasional slight stutter does not affect gameplay (although this may be a bit of a nuisance if you are playing fast-paced shooters) whatsoever and doesn't affect the experience.

Very fun game, just picked up the full version and have been having loads of fun. Will update as I play more

In all seriousness this a great game, I just bought it and am already loving it, the combat is great, and the campaign is amazing. 10/10 buy it.

Ark. Ark is a great game, it yes has not the best optimization, but you can look past that, and see the amazing world, and the amazing sandbox with dinosaurs. Honestly, there's not much to say, its a beautiful sandbox with dinosaurs. Why aren't you buying it?

OK, if you are reading this review, you have probably already seen lots of negative reviews complaining about stolen textures. There seem to be two sides to this, both equally powerful. But rather than wasting your time with a review saying why or why not you should support the developer, I am going to actually review the game. The game is a fps/tps/3ps(if thats a thing lol). Meaning you can switch between third person, first person, and top shooter. Anyways, the game is about killing dinosaurs, racing, and pvping. It's DEFINITELY worth $1/49 cents(depending on when you're reading this). It's a nice fps game overall and I would rate it a 9/10. This is kinda a short review, but I haven't really played the game much, I just felt I should review it. Anyways, so far the only con I have found is the INSANE high quality stuff. The "low" quality is still very high, so I do not recommend this game for any pc with integrated graphics, or an old graphics card. Thanks for reading through the whole review!
