Updated: Gearbox released an update that absolutely ruined the game BUT they put in a huge amount of effort into fixing it and have already released some massive hotfixes, so although they may have broken the game, their efforts to fix it and improve the player experience do deserve commendation

Old Review: Having played the first Risk of Rain for years and enjoying it enough to purchase it a second time for the switch, I was extremely excited when I saw that Risk of Rain 2 had come out. I've been playing it on and off since the release day and can easily say that this is one of my favourite coop games to play with friends. The transition from 2D to 3D went extremely well, the added dimension changes so much about the gameplay, adding a ton of new possibilities which help keep the game fresh and exciting.
